aFe PowerTakeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System w/Pro 5R Filter, #TR-1019B, Black

Let me start by saying , Buy It Now. I paired this as my last mod for my 13 Accord Sport along with RV6 Down pipe, Borla Axle-back and KTUNER Program which had originally included the Tekeda TR in their pre-loaded mapped tune. Totally woke up the car all over again! though it was tuned for this intake you can sure tell a difference. The sound and performance is fantastic, more torque, mid and high end power not just lows and or high increases. I had a K&N typhoon on years ago with a good LOSS in power to the car so not sure what Tekeda is doing but they are doing it right. Beautifully boxed kit and instructions are clear and accurate. Fit of this kit for the 2.4 13-15 Accords is spot on, perfect. Quality and build of the black powder coated version which I had purchased is just awesome. Love everything about this intake. I recommend if you are going to start modding your Accord Sport to seriously check out the RV6 website for their Ktuner Rv6 DP package for around $800.00. That along with this intake will surly put a smile on your face, turns your car into a true great sounding performance Sedan even without an exhaust which is just a noise maker anyways.

Fits perfectly, adds a nice growl to 2.4l i4. Throttle response is better. Power increase is minimal but you can tell it's there.

2017 honda accord sport sedan.Man this thing woke my car up.Pedal down and it roars in my engine bay.I don't know about hp or to.But I do know my car seems to pick up more then before it's not as laggy.She loves the extra air.And did I mention it sounds amazing..

Really good sound and fuel economy on my accord

I am very pleased with the purchase of this air intake system. I bought it originally for the "additional power" and louder induction sound that this causes the car to make, but was pleasantly surprised at the gained MPG when i keep my foot out of it. I did install this along with the TBS at the same time, so gained power /MPG maybe different with just the intake. Install was very simple

Super high quality construction and a perfect fit on my 2013 Accord Sport.I love the growl from my hood when I punch the gas. It gives a rather loud "woosh" with a low rumble and it's super satisfying.I have also noticed minor power gains when over 3000rpms and when I'm using (Sport) select shift in 1, 2, 3, and 4th "gears".

6 horsepower LOSS, 7 lb/ft torque gain according to the manufacturer’s own Dyno results and on their website. I’m addition this will not fit the factory mounts in use this with the throttle body spacer.Bottom line is if you like your engine to sound a lot louder above 3000 RPM and your willing to pay $250 to lose horsepower, then get this, but know you’re losing horsepower with minimal torque gain so your net gain is nothing.You’re better off buying a new paper filer every month, you maintain max power all the time using the stock setup, and your car maintains some level of quiet. I don’t mind a little noise with some power, but this is just a toy made to make your car look and sound cool.With tuning and an exhaust kit it may offer advantages, but with a stock setup I give it a big thumbs down.

Pretty simple to install. The directions could have been more clear on having to remove the coolant hose. This thing has a nice roar to it once you get to 3/4 RPM..I can feel a quicker a response time with acceleration..

Very happy overall with the intake. Does what it's suppose to do, sounds great, and a marginal (barely noticeable/perhaps placebo) gain in power at full throttle, plus the Amazon price is very competitive.- Relatively easy install (lots of videos/forums online to help guide you)- Good looking (cleans up engine bay), good quality materials used and comes with everything you need- Comes with little bonuses such as decals, and license plate holder- Sounds great (around 4000 RPM the engine comes alive, and @ 5000 RPM, you can hear the switch to VTEC! Nice throaty growl, allows you to hear the excellent Honda engineered engines)- Power? Unconvinced that this adds any noticeable gains in power, though it makes you want to drive hard just so you can hear the engine more. To be honest the as advertised 7HP gain can only be had in certain (colder weather) conditions, as normally Short Ram intakes can negatively effect performance in a hot air engine environment. All the videos that "prove" this power gain from the manufacturer show the hood open so that cold air is being sucked in.Conclusion, buy this if you want a better sounding engine and it's a good small start to further engine modifications. Don't buy this if you think this will make your car appreciably faster. It also helps that the filters are reusable and you can clean them over and over again instead of purchasing new filters for your car every 20,000KM.
