Excellent quality
Much more affordable than the name brands and just as good. Thick steel plate fit perfectly, just take ur time. Fits my 2017 SR5 perfectly. Arrived quickly and intact, no damage. I painted mine flat black and it looks great. Buy it!

Good product
Good quality and fit on my 2021 TRD OR. Took 1 star off as it came bent at the front lip. Nothing a proper metal working hammer couldn't take care of. Would recommend.

Well built with easy assembly and installation on 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road
Some light assembly with the included bolts/spacers. Would be nice if the install instructions specified which length of spacer went to which location. Great fit if you leave the bolts loose until you get them all started. Some small jockeying into place and then snugged the bolts up. Total assembly time to take off old skid plates, assemble bolts/spacers and install was about 40min with hand tools. No more rattling on washboards like the stock front steel skid used to. Seems solidly built, but time will tell.

2019 Toyota Tacoma OR
I installed it and the bolts holes don't lineup, the material is good and there is no directions as in the ad stated but give us a break and help us out, and did I say the bolts holes don't lineup.I am going to have to drill to install the front left side bolt.I would've gladly paid the extra money for the TRD pro plate if I knew about this in advance. Two thumbs downI would not recommend this to anyone.

Quality is lacking
The sheet of metal used to make this is solid, however it is roughly finished surrounded in razor sharp edges. Use caution when handling. See my blood on the panel because I did not expect this when unboxing a “finished” skid plate. Mine did not include the riv-nuts for the four oil filter door screws, but came included with four nuts and washers, which means you would have to remove the skid plate to remove the oil filter panel. WTH! The welds look worse than my beginner welds when I was 14 years old learning to weld with the Future Farmers of America. Is it worth fixing? Yes, but I am pissed at buying what is shown as a completed product only to find it needed to be finished. If it were advertised as a rough project piece formed for completion as a project I would have gone to the next item. A set of riv-nuts would be nice but overall it meets the basic requirements as a project only needing about 1-2 hour to complete and some riv-nuts before I can use it. CAUTION: ALL EDGES ARE ROUGH CUT AND RAZOR SHARP!! Either the quality was missed on this one skid plate completely or the company is trying to make a quick buck at the unwary consumers expense, I’m not sure which, but I would select a different company if I were buying again.

Pretty solid. Heavier than I thought which is a good thing!
Box came in fairly good condition, but I think the delivery company may have rough housed it a bit because there was a small scratch in it, but no big deal. The scratch was in an inconspicuous place. It didn't come with instructions, but I'm sure that I could have check on amazon and found some. I used a creeper and rested it on my torso and rolled under my 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4. I looked though to the skid plate (after removing the OEM one) mounting holes to see what bolts I needed to remove and removed them. I then seated the new 17mm bolts through the two center and two front holes and used the included clips to fasten them to the new skid plate. I used the shorter spacers on the front, and the longer spacers on the center. I connected the center of the skid plate under the Tacoma first but left the bolts really loose. I then screwed in the rear bolts (weird size- 13mm) leaving them loose as well, then I attached the front bolts. I then tightened them all down back to front. I then attached the oil filter hatch with the 4 screws it came with. No issues. Had some extra parts....some nuts, one odd size spacer, and a couple clips. I found the install easy, even without instructions. I am very happy with this product. It feels good and solid, it installed easy, and it looks good. I might spray paint it flat black, but all in all its a quality product, especially for the price in comparison to the TRD skid plate. This looks identical, it just doesn't have the TRD stamp on it.

Holes don't line up.
The mounting holes don't line up. Trying to install it with the holes where they are will cause you to cross-thread the bolts. I had to use a rat-tail file to remove about 1/8 inch of material from the two front holes and the two rear holes. After I did that it bolted up just fine. I installed it myself by supporting it with a floor jack. Being aluminum it's not very heavy. It came with instructions that said some things were pre-installed, not so. It did came with all the hardware needed. I have not tested it off road. If you drive fast, or rock crawl you might be better off with a steel one, but I think it will work for me. Other than the mounting problems, I can recommend this.

Decent product with some fitment problems.
For half price of the OEM part, this is a good deal. The aluminum is nice and thick. The whitish coating is pretty fragile and actually comes off on your hands when handling it. The hardware seems of decent quality. The only issue I had is that the rear most bolt holes do not line up with the holes in the frame. The skid plate is in the rear most position and I am going to have to elongate the rearholes in order to get the bolt to thread through. Overall I would get it again to save money but expect a little bit of modification for it to fit right.
