- These elegant candles are handmade from a 100% natural and organic source, a Japanese fruit called “haze”. Haze has been used in Japan for centuries to make wax for Warosoku (wa = Japanese, rosoku = candles). Haze is also known as “Japanese wax tree fruit” for its excellent qualities as an ingredient for making candles.
- The wick is made of Japanese paper (wash), Igusa grass and cotton, which are all sourced locally from Nara, Japan.
- Handmade using "Tegake-seiho", a traditional Japanese candle-making technique wherein wax is applied in layers around a wick.
- As these candles are entirely plant based, they’re less likely to drip and release soot. The larger and brighter flame burns slowly and provides a gentle glow which creates a calming and soothing effect.
- Contains 2 candles. Dimensions per piece: (Height) 5.9 in (Diameter) 0.5 in. Color: Gradation of yellow & grey. Each candle has a burning time of 90 minutes. The package design may be different from the image as it is being updated.
