Good product
I originally bought this thinking it was a also a cleaning agent but the instructions say to clean the surface before applying. So I quickly wiped the surfaces I was going to apply the protectant to with an interior cleaner. The protectant had a nice smell and left a nice shine. While the protectant did provide a nice sheen I didn't find it (observably) work better than some of the more cheaper protectants out there. This is marketed as a UV protectant with a ceramic coating. While it doesn't say hydrophobic, that feature is usually associated with these kind of coatings. I did not spray down my interior with water (or spill anything) to test if the surfaces repel liquid. Also, I'm not sure that is a feature I need for my interior IMO. I use other Hydrosilex products (Recharge and Tire Gel) and love those products (5 stars). Those products do produce immediate, observable, reproducible results. So while this is a good product, 16oz is expensive compared to other protectants out there. 32oz is more economical.

It's not a cleaner, adds no shine. It's about protection
If you're looking for shine, gloss or anything more than stock look this is not what it's for. It's an interior ceramic protectant. You still have to clean your interiors well before applying this. It leaves a great factory look which I love , but it also helps protect every material inside from getting wet or stained right Away. It's gives you time to clean it with less elbow grease just as if you had a ceramic coating on the outside, washing is much easier to do.If you'd like shine or more gloss, I'd recommend 24 to 36 hours for this to cure and then top it with your favorite product you use for your interiors. Hope this helps

Excellent Protection. Easy to Apply.
This is one the easiest to apply ceramic coatings. It works great on the dash especially with the UV inhibitors in the formula. It creates a very easy to clean surface that dust, dirt and water don't want to stick to. Working in small areas makes the end result better. 5 stars.

Shine and Protect - Armor All Alternative
This is a nice bottle of nano synthetic protection for your vessel or vehicle interior. I have used it on several cars now to protect surfaces from daily wear and tear/abuse. For instance, my kids are constantly kicking the back of my seats, and often times it takes considerable elbow grease to restore the surface to its original sheen and color. Once I applied a few coats of this, it became much easier to clean and maintain. Application note: work in small areas and wipe quickly from side to side. Circular buffing actually tends to cause drying problems and streak issues with consistency, so I advise against it. The other things to note is that to get the true protective benefits you're hoping for, you'll need to apply several coats, and it takes a few days between coats to get the maximum curing/drying benefits. Patience recommended! I can't speak on how long the coating lasts but thus far it's held up to regular kid abuse.

Not sure what it’s for but it’s expensive.
I just got a new car and I’ve been really getting into the home car detailing. I also got this product free from Amazon for an honest review. This company charges about $32 for a 32 oz bottle, so I’d expect some seriously great uses, either as an amazing cleaner, or a protectorant/sealant like a souped up Armor All. But here’s what it says on the bottle: “ this sophisticated interior ceramic coating is based on the proven Hydro silex recharge coating, with a formulation designed for all automotive interior materials such as plastic, vinyl, leather, cloth and carpet.“ What does it do exactly? I assumed it was something like Armor All so I did what the instructions told me to do. I sprayed a bit onto the interior of my car door panel and rubbed it in with a microfiber. I waited till the next day to see if there were any changes for the better. Looked just like before. No increased (or decreased shine) and unable to tell if there’s any kind of UV protection since neither the packaging nor the instructions that came with it say anything about that.I assume it protects in SOME way but I have no idea how. At least not with any of the information that came with the product. Finally I got onto their website that says that the coating provides UV protection, but that’s about it. I can get Turtle Wax and Armor All interior protectorant at $5 a bottle and get the same thing. They have other products on their website: glass cleaner, all purpose cleaner, interior cleaner, and then this one. At least the other products actually describe a function. I’m not sure what it’s really for and why it’s so expensive.
