Very good antenna
I just got my 13" AntennaX and it looks great!... I have not installed mine yet but I have read several other people's reviews regarding reception issues. I mainly listen to music via cd's but of course it is nice to have radio reception... I am concerned about how it says on the back of the package to remove the antenna before going through the car wash. I only soap and rinse my vehicle off instead of running it through the automated car-wash. So I'm not complaining about it, just simply saying many people may not want to get out to remove it and then also what exactly are you supposed to do to protect electrical damage? I know certain accessories aren't car wash friendly but a rubberized antenna would be the last thing I would think of. Overall I still give it a 5 ☆ and will see about the reception issue after being installed. (=

Awesome for off-roading!
After my 31" was stolen off my H3T (Hummer Pickup), I decided to take a chance and order this. GREAT CALL! It's durable and branches/car washes/wind do not bother it! There is an ever-so-slight degradation in reception for fringe stations, so people who live beyond the suburbs might want to look some more (unless you have SAT- in which case, you don't need this anyway!). Just make sure you buy the 2$ adapter offered with it. It will NOT fit newer GM vehicles without it!

Didn’t fit
Amazon says this will fit my H3, but it doesn’t. The base is too big and will not fit through the opening in the antenna mount housing. It would only work if I were to remove that, and I’m not going to. My only other observation is that it’s not very flexible at all and that could cause problems. Does seem like a good quality item though. Just won’t work for me.

Works as advertised
Ordered it today , received it today. I used the bigger stud that comes with it. Tight fit but screwed down all the way by hand. Fired up the Hummer , turned the radio on and all channels worked as good or better than with oe antenna.

Does not work well for AM srtations
Will work with FM stations for off road runs, but not for listening to AM news stations in the city.

Looks good, very poor signal reception
I like the looks of the antenna however, when I placed it on the vehicle it significantly diminished the radio reception. I live in Nashville, TN where there are LOTS of very strong radio stations. Even the strongest stations now have static after installing this antenna. I mostly listen to satellite radio so most of the time it doesn’t bother me but if I want to tune to a local station for a traffic report, or to catch a score, the stations come in but frustrating to listen to them due to the poor reception now. I may keep it on the vehicle due to the improved look or may go back to the factory antenna, not sure just yet.

Works pretty good. I had a little static at first but after a week seems to work fine now.

I think the reception is not as good as the original one because it’s a lot shorter.
