I absolutely love talavera pottery so when I found this and saw that it’s lead free I was so excited. I contacted the seller with color questions and correspondence was fast and friendly, as if I was talking to an old friend. I love my serving tray and dishes!! Don’t expect it to be flawless though. There will be tiny paint flaws. Mine has a little sag in one side of the tray that can be seen when it’s across the room on the counter but doesn’t affect the tray itself. I love it anyway and decided it wasn’t worth trying to exchange because that’s just how authentic Mexico pottery is. The colors are perfect, glaze is nice, I won’t hesitate to order more!

My mother in law collects telavera so we bought this for her for Christmas. It is absolutely beautiful, and handmade! It was packaged well and shipped quickly! You will not be disappointed!

i was looking for a set that would match the already purchased bowl i received. DARK ORANGE. i couldn’t find it available, then i saw the set in the Color YELLOW and decided that would suffice as it would provide a Contrast to my Burnt Orange rimmed bowl. i had the image of a Bright Yellow Rim per the description and that is what i was expecting. the set is very beautiful, the painting matches my bowl, however the Color is NOT Yellow.it is a Lighter Orange Color and i feel that it looks lackluster next to the Darker Orange. i would really have preferred to have a Stand Out Contrast Color to Compliment the bowl i had while it sits next to it on a party table. there is nothing wrong with the set. it arrived very, very well packaged, i am a little disappointed that it was not Yellow as described. it was not cheap either. so i would tell people who want to purchase this item or any “ Enchanted Talavera products to be aware that they may not receive what they are expecting based on the picture or worded description on Amazon’s website, that’s all.
