Bought it for my brother for Christmas. He was looking for a jump rope that didn’t tangle in a gym bag, is flexible and would not get creases. He said it is a little stiff right now being it’s brand new and it’s going to put some leather oil/coat on it to loosen it up. Holds its shape and works well. Weights in the handles are removable and the length of the rope can be adjusted using the plastic pieces inside the handles

If you jump rope as part of a regular regimen to stay healthy, you may have tried a few styles of strings. This rope offered by HUEY hits on a few levels:1) Leather jump ropes have a unique hand to hear/feel that other types do not. Yes, it works out your whole body - but the sound of leather as it wooshes past your ears, coupled with the feel of tugging it open pre-jump, is fantastic.2) If you've ever had a rope that was too light, then you always feel like something needs to be added when you finish your reps. The weights in the handles here mean your wrists and forearms are in on the action, leaving you with a satisfied feeling post-workout. It's a little "burn," but good.3) The storage bag helps. It may seem silly, or you may tell yourself you won't use it or lose it. Don't. My rope lives on a hook in my mud room and stays neatly nestled in its bag until it's time to rock. Don't doubt the bag. If you go to a gym and they don't have good ropes, or you don't want to touch one that 100 people that day have already - throw this bad boy in your gym bag, and you're set.Downside? Leather is natural, and it will eventually break after slapping the ground a million times. Nevertheless, jumping rope is fantastic, and once you have it down, you will always want to incorporate it into your pre-, during, or cool-down workout. The cost of this rope won't hold you back should you need to replace it.

Each of the handles can be dissembled easily and put back together. You can take out the weights as well, to switch up your workout. Grip is comfortable and doesn’t slip much with sweat. Added bonus to taking the handles off the jump rope and I shadow box with the weighted handles. The rope itself is leather, as far as I can tell decent quality. It’s a good jump rope and meets my expectations. Worth it

This was a present for my daughter who is a physical education teacher. She taught some jump roping classes, plus works out a lot and so this was ideal for her. She loves the weight and feel of this jump rope

I dropped a handle and it broke in half cheap ass made!!! Jump ropes are supposed to handle a little roughness not just a drop to the ground they suck!

The Huey jump rope has very comfortable but durable grips that have smooth bearings for the leather rope to rotate with 100% ease flawlessly. Length was just right for me out of the box but apparently length is adjustable rather easily from the looks of it.Leather is firm but pliable and relieves itself from the boxed bends very quickly.The storage bag with squeeze-slide string closure is very well sized and keeps it organized when not in use.I would purchase the same one if this was lost somehow.

Easy to adjust length. Nicely weighted handles. Needs to be hung for a bit to straighten the leather after shipping.
