but it seems like it will hold up
This is a big yoga bolster with handle straps on each end and a zipper so you can take the cover off and wash it. It's densely filled. The cover is tightly woven (cotton twill) and well stitched. I've only been using it for 2 days, but it seems like it will hold up.YES:* put it under your knees to sleep* put it under your chest to work on a laptop while you're lying on your stomach* fill in the gigantic gap in your saggy couch's lumbar region* do restorative yoga posesNO:* it is not to eat* you should not expect it to deflect bullets* do not use this one for pillow fights. It would really hurt.

Real Problem Solver
This bolster is exactly what I need with one caveat.Pros: fairly large around, firm, round profile so a foot or ankle can rest comfortably. It's going to help a lot with recuperating from my current foot surgery and upcoming knee surgery. I currently use 2 firm pillows stacked on top of each other and it is a constant hassle to keep them on top of each other and under my foot, especially in bed at night. The pillows sag too of course, so I can barely keep my foot at the needed elevation, which is not a problem with this bolster. Yayy!!! And the color is a lovely green (the sage).Con: the dimensions are off. 28" probably measures the length of the "tube" but the stuffing pushes the ends out so it's actually a good 4-5" longer. I would prefer 20", what I ordered was 28", what I got is close to 34" For many users this won't matter, but I find it more difficult in bed under the covers, and the other place I use the bolster is on my sofa. It hangs a good 8-10" off the end and its heavy, so it's teetery when I'm not using it.All in all I'm delighted that something so helpful for my recovery is also nice looking, sturdy and reasonably priced.

Smells Stale and Not Allergy Friendly
I got the green bolster. I love the color and the size. The firmness is great. But the smell of the fabric and the cotton inside is stale and not allergy friendly. It smells old as though its been sitting in a moist warehouse over the years. I was sneezing and my throat itched. It just arrived today and Ive removed the cover and washed it. Im also considering replacing the cotton insulation. I just hate that i didnt just send it back before washing cover. My advice, is to read reviews closely next time. Such a shame too. Its really nice to look at.

Musty!
Giving a 2 star only because the bolster I got was very strong musty smelling. I can't relax with that! That is certainly defective and returned. I got another hoping this time I will get better. Maybe my rating will change then. Never send a very musty smelling bolster to your customer though. I love the color of bolster and size but....

Large and heavy
This bolster is large and very well made. Problem is the formaldehyde smell, which is VERY strong. I opened the box and immediately had to take the bolster out of the house. It stayed in the garage for days until I had to put it outside on the patio, where it stayed for over a week. I've had this pillow for 5 weeks now and only bring it in from the garage when I use it and then back to the garage. But it's great for a yoga workout.

Love, love, love!!
I love this bolster! I purchased several yoga bolsters from Yogaaccessories and all of them are good quality. Well made, good fabric, well stuffed for firm support. I love them and highly recommend!

What's that smell??
I don't often review, but I'm both impressed and a tad disappointed with this bolster. It's exactly the color and size described, and it's quite firm, as a proper yoga bolster should be. But, oh, it smells so chemically - quite pungent. I took the cover off and left it outside for a week or so. That helped. I also sprayed it down with an essential oil mist, but that doesn't really remove the smell, just disguises it a bit. If you're sensitive, I'd find something else.

Great!
I love this bolster. All bolsters start to pack down and change shape over time, though I wish they'd pack down more evenly; this one is slightly higher on one side, though I'm 100% sure it's from how I use it - sitting on one end during meditation. My old one was all wool with a cotton cover and attracted lint like nothing else. I thought this would do the same, but it still looks clean and lint free after 8 months. I use it daily for my yoga practice and now have a few more for teaching.
