The Art of ShavingLavender Shaving Soap With Wooden Bowl

Smooth
I have used different premium shave creams for a number of years (Kiehls, Art of Shaving Cream, Jack Black, Anthony Logistics, Lab Series, and a few others). This was my first shave soap, and I am very happy with it. It lathers up very well, and creates a thick cushion between the blade and the skin. If you have a badger brush, I would recommend this. The soap lasts a long time, and the lavender is very very light, so will not make you smell like your mother's old perfume.I was able to pick up this set (bowl and soap) for at least $11 cheaper than at the store, so I am very happy with the price as well.

Hands down the best.
I'm an Art of Shaving snob. I love it. I've tried many other products and always returned. Spend the extra money on the shave soaps or creams, they are worth it. I have used the Lavender scent which is very nice but have transitioned to unscented for the soap and after shave balm. I have found some other shave oils that are better values than the AOS pre shave oil however. Give some of those a try (The Blades Grim Smolder pre shave oil) if you want a specific.

Smells good and lathers up nicely
Smells good and lathers up nicely. The wood soap dish is well made and looks nice as part of any shave set.

This didn't cause any break out and he seems to be very pleased with it
Worked well for my son who has always had problems with sensitive skin. This didn't cause any break out and he seems to be very pleased with it.

This soap easily produces a nice lather and smells great
This soap easily produces a nice lather and smells great. I used the Art of Shaving cream and think this product is better. The wood bowl is nice and looks good by my sink. Refills of this soap cost 30 dollars. Don't be fooled by the price, this product will last a very long time.
