Good Shocks At A Good Price
Since I was replacing shocks on a 10 year old vehicle, I didn't want to spend a lot of cash but still wanted a decent shock absorber. These Monroe shocks were good enough for me. Fairly easy to swap out shocks on my vehicle (2004 Santa Fe), except for one lower mounting bushing on the old OEM shock which was completely rusted in place. Had to heat the bushing with a torch to get it loose. If you have no rust issues, swap out is a breeze (at least on this vehicle). Although shocks are made by Monroe and Amazon sells them as Sensa-Trac, my units were labelled as "OE Spectrum" which is a Monroe brand. Only gripe I have was that Amazon packed them in two large a box, so the shocks were sliding all around, which made one shock break through the thin cardboard box Monroe packed them in. otherwise no complaints with this item.

Perfect Fit for 2006 Santa Fe GLS 2.7L Rear
Purchased for 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 2.7L FWD Rear Position.Installed November 2013 to replace the shot OEM shocks after approximately 125K miles. Installation is pretty straightforward and knocked out in about an hour. As one would expect, the difference in feel of the suspension was immediate. As of the time of this writing (October 2018) we are approaching 5 years with no shock failures. I am impressed with shock quality and am well pleased with this purchasing decision and have no problem recommending this product.

They fit well
A bit expensive but they fit well. The top fastening nut is not as good of quality as I hoped. Maybe a nice nylon lock nut would be better?

I has been installed for about two months. I've had no problems at all. My 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe rides like new!

Monroe is the best!
My uncle asked me to order shock absorbers for him. I was going to recommend KYB's but sadly my Uncle had a bad experience with KYB. He only trust the brand Monroe. He says their a strong name brand (big company) that makes very good quality back with a good warranty. The shocks he had b4 were I believe were KYb not sure which one and as you look at it the Monroe look to be slightly better in quality.
