Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Waterproof Mascara, Black Brown

This is one of the best cheaper mascaras that holds a curl and is buildable. It stays in the rotation.

I actually love this! I go through mascara every 3 months. This one is really good. I will buy again.

I've bought this brand of mascara before but it's been a while and really missed wearing it. I really like how my eyelashes seem to be fuller when applied but I've ran into two problems while wearing it.While wearing it, which I only apply this mascara to my top lashes and not the bottoms, I've noticed that the black "runs" to my bottom eyelid, making it appear that I have really dark eye baggage (well, worse than what I already have anyway 🤣)The other problem I've come across is after a few hours, my eyes get irritated to where I either try ripping out what's bothering me or wash it off completely, which defeats the purpose.I really like this mascara, but unfortunately, won't be buying anymore due to the problems mentioned above 😕

I’ve used this for years and love it, but this purchase I was sent waterproof.I realized it as I was washing my face.I’ve lost half of my eyelashes now trying to wash it off.

Great mascara

Overall, I can say I'm satisfied with this mascara itself.I've been using the Maybelline Great Lash but saw great reviews on this one so thought I'd give it a try.As far as mascara goes, I really don't see any difference between this and the Maybelline Great Lash.The brush is shaped differently - - fatter and with shorter silicone bristles than the Maybelline. It took a little practice b/c at first I found that my lashes clumped more with this than with the Maybelline, but using a little lighter hand with this achieves a nice and similar result.It does work as advertised - - - waterproof and smudge proof through hot weather, workouts and even swims.My biggest peeve with this, and the reason I'll be going back to Maybelline Great Lash when I run through this tube, is the shape of the tube and wand. I'm not talking about the brush itself, but the shape of the wand handle that you hold onto while applying the mascara.Am I the only one that finds the conical shape hard to hold onto? Or maybe I just happen to apply my mascara differently than others do.I typically hold onto the wide part of the brush handle to apply to the majority of my lashes, but then I always slide my fingers down to the top part of the handle when I apply to my bottom and outer edge lashes. I cannot tell you how many times the brush has squirted out of my fingers when I adjust my hold onto it.The conical shape that narrows toward the end make it difficult to hold onto. This is made worse because the plastic is sort of micro-textured and doesn't really allow a nice finger hold at the narrow end.Silly to judge a mascara on the packaging, but the Maybelline gives me the same result without the dropsies and mess. Sorry CoverGirl.

This mascara is easy to apply, looks great and not clumpy, still looks good despite rain and a long day. One thing of note is it does make my eyelashes stick together when I blink which can be irritating.
