My Daughter loves this a lot!!
My Daughter likes this soo much.. I was hoping I was getting a really cute pinkish-purple car. I was kind of disappointed because it is just dark pink. I also looked at the ones in-store @ ToysRUs. The Amazon version was actually a lighter shade of pink, more of a bubblegum pink or maybe I should say watermelon pink than the one @ ToysRUs. I like this one better. I'm pretty pleased w/it. I paid $44.60 on Amazon (same price as Wmart w/no tax) which beat everyone else. However, if I'd waited a week I could've got it for $30 direct from LittleTikes.com w/free ship. Eversave has a coupon running this week for 25=50 [...] Or you could get the glitter vs from them for $42. It just goes to show you that if they can sell them that cheap and still make a profit, they are WAY over-charging for these toys. I'm ok w/the bubblegum pink. I just wish Amazon would show a pic true to color. I wish they DID make a purple one like they show in the pic but they don't. They are all dark pink at all the retailers. My 2-yr-old daughter loves this car. It was so worth all the pain. She kept saying car beep beep all day after she got sight of it before I took it to Lowes. I put it in the trunk to go to the "shop" but she remembered it all day and hasn't stopped playing w/it ever since. She loves getting in/out and putting her key in/out. She drives and pushes it around the living room. We put the floor board in and drove her around the block outside and she loved it. The plastic tires do get a bit scratched on the road/side-walk but we mostly use it indoors. It's VERY sturdy once put together. This thing may get banged up but it coming apart. The gas cap is cute but she doesn't realize what it's for yet. We didn't get the gas pump and after reading the reviews on that, I probably won't. I may find something similar for her to "fill up" with later. She always plays even in day care..I would probably give this toy 5 stars but took 1 off because assembly can be a bit of a headache and dis-assembly is not an option. All in all, this is a great toy and I highly recommend it.

Smiles all around! (Some assembly required)
I figured my nephew would like this toy too, after having a similar one as a kid. He got a electric atv for his 1 year birthday a couple months ago but I think he's not ready for the big boy toys just yet. The Cozy Coupe will be a great intermediate for the little guy until he's got the hand-eye coordination thing down to play on the electric atv.Let me just start out by saying this toy took a lot more assembly than I thought it would! I had to bust out a screwdriver and even a hammer (both required). The hammer was for hammering down the wheels so try not to work around your little one if you want it to be a surprise. I learned that the hard way and the nephew came to see what was up, saw the new toy and thought I was breaking it :( Don't be afraid to really hammer in those wheel end-caps because I feel if they come loose, goodbye wheel, hello hospital. Also, be very very sure to follow the instructions. ESPECIALLY following in order the assembly of the yellow canopy pieces. I also learned this the hard way and attached the yellow posts in the wrong order. If you don't you'll have a extremely hard time inserting any of the other yellow posts. Some of the pieces require inserting them in a certain way and then twisting them to get it locked in place. If you do some things out of order, you may end up not being able to pull the piece back out without some serious muscle. In the end, we ended up with a pretty good toy. My nephew loved the Cozy Coupe's face, especially its eyes. He's learning to get in and out of the toy by himself but its hilarious to see him climbing out the passenger side window, where there is no door. I'm just concerned that the toy may tip over if he gets big enough. I don't necessarily want to test this out but it's a concern of mine. The actual door is nice in that you can have it have it latched shut or permanently closed with a screw. The floorboard is nice too when your kid wants to be lazy and let you do all the pushing work! All in all, great toy, great value. This should last years after and bring your child endless entertainment.
