Oh gosh, he thinks it's a bed.
Update, so I'm changing my review rating already. It's been two days and it's actually working. Yesterday, it pooped so much around the potty and inside that I had to wash its sheets. After washing it yesterday, I got up this morning and saw all the poop and pee was in the potty with the hay. Yay!!! What I did after cleaning the cage was pour out the poop into the grass (good fertilizer). I didn't wash the potty like I planned on, because I remember reading that the guinea pig will smell its pee and possibly use the same area. Since its pee and poop has no odor (my office still smells like renuzit cones, lol) I kept the dry pee in the potty so it could smell it and in the morning it was filled with poop, hay and pee, no poop around the cage at all. He may have peed around the cage, but I can't tell with the blue sheets...so I'm focusing on the poop now. He's still laying on top of his poop though, not happy about that because he's still getting dirty. I bought guinea pig shampoo, so after a bath I hope he'll start laying in the hay or on the fleece instead.--------------------------Two stars: It's large, durable material and easy to set up. I have no issue with the design or strength of this litter pan. The problem is its usefulness. The guinea pig considers this a bed instead of a potty. As suggested by others I placed a little hay and poop in the bin so he can notice it's where he should "go". He still poops outside of it, but goes inside to lay on top of the poop I put in it. I wanted to get the one with the wire on top so he wouldn't be sleeping on top of poop, but I was told it's no good for it's feet. So I got this one which is like a dustpan. I will continue training because the last thing I need is a stink pig, his odor has been non existent until now. When he starts using it as a potty I will change my star rating and update this review.

Stays in place
I purchased this for my ferrets, as they very much enjoy tipping any and everything over. This actually stays in place, also it's more versatile when it comes to what enclosure you have for your pets. The lock is large enough that it doesn't need to be in a particular place making putting it back way easier.

Great!
Just set up and can tell this is just what I needed, my boys are litter trained and needed a corner pan for their top level. Easy to instal and clean, perfect for my male rats. I have a critter nation cage and it fits perfect. Colors are random, love the one I got. Enjoy the pic of my boys trying to get my attention when taking photos of the new pan.

For Larger Small Pets
I got this for my son's dwarf hamster cage.....here's a tip, read the description and product dimensions before you click that handy one click button. Seems obvious now that this is way too big for anything smaller than a guinea pig but the allure of the one click button lured me in.But just because I didn't read the dimensions doesn't make it a bad product. It's very sturdy and well made. As others have mentioned the label has a pretty strong adhesive. I removed it and gave it to a neighbor that has a couple rabbits. She reported back that her rabbits took to it right away when she placed it in the cage with some critter litter. She has a homemade cage and said the clips were a little weak but worked well enough for her to mostly keep the pan in place and said it has made cleaning the cage a lot easier since they use it.For under $10 not worth bothering with returning and it worked out in the end. Meanwhile I ordered a Kaytee product of the appropriate size for a dwarf hamster.

Had to modify it before use
First, let me tell you that i had to modify the litter box before I put it in my hedgehogs cage. The front lip is 3 inchs high, so I wouldn't consider this a "small animal litter box" thankfully, my dad used a saw and cut the front lip down more than half way. That lip is way too high for any "small animal" My hedgehog is very smart and very driven. I switched out her bedding in her cage with a blanket to promote her using the litter box. She used the box with no accidents on the blanket the first night she had it. I'm very happy with her brain right now. I put the Kaytee critter training litter in the bottom of the box and put her usual bedding on top, since she is used to going on that. It worked like a charm. When I first put her back in her cage she immediately ran over and explored her new set up. She seemed to know what it was, but of course she peed and pooped all over her carrier, so she didn't have a chance to try it out until that night. Thankfully, she picked up on it quick. The litter box is well made when it comes to securing it to the cage. There are two screw in pieces that secure it tightly to the cage. My hog is small enough that I wouldn't really need it, but I don't want to take any chances of her flipping it over and getting poop all in her food bowl. All in all, after I modified it, I am happy with the litter box. Avie loves it too (:

Nice and big.
Arrived earlier than expected and well packaged. It’s pretty big. A good size for my 14 month hedgehog to climb in. I’m pleased with it.

Great size for our rats in their critter nation
I purchased two of these for our 2 story Critter Nation Cage for our Rats. They are the perfect size for the rats, lots of room and are very sturdy. I read here that the labels did not remove well but our labels came off perfectly and did not leave any residue on the pans at all. They locked into our cage perfectly and are easy to just slide up and remove for cleaning without having to remove the clips. Absolutely great product with a great price.

Big size, but not flush with the cage
I took the pan out of my syrian hamster's cage to take a better picture, and he actually demonstrated how he uses it (lol). I love that it's a corner tray, and it's very easy to clean. It has been scratched up by my hamster on the bottom, but the plastic is very thick and durable and the scratches don't impact how easy it is to clean. My only concern is that the tray is not flush with the cage because I do not have a wire cage. Because of this, my hamster actually can squeeze behind the tray and sometimes pee in that corner instead of in the tray. If you have a mesh cage, I'm sure that wouldn't be an issue.

Awesome product, but it's too small for adult ferrets.
Great quality, came as ordered. However. It really isn't big enough for my ferrets. Bless their souls, they still try. But they have a hard time getting comfortable and finding that perfect position. Sometimes they poop over the sides in the front corners. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with a baby ferret (they will outgrow it), small sized guinea pigs, small bunnies, rats, etc. One size up would have been much better for my ferrets, however, they still use it, it came in a great colour (green), and it's a great pan for outside the cage.My only complaint is that the glue they use to stick the information picture to the front seems like it will NEVER come off. I've tried everything shy of turpentine. Sometimes litter gets stuck to it, or some waste gets smeared across it, and it's pretty unsanitary. I think, maybe, after about 2000 washes, it will eventually come off, but as of right now there's still some glue on the sides. I dream of the day I can get this gunk off.

My rat did not really use it
When I had only 2 rats in a small cage, they used this pan and did their business in there. But when I moved this pan to their bigger cage when I have 6 rats, none of them used it and they did their business everywhere else. Though the pan is sturdy and long-lasting, but it is a bit big for rats and it does take up a lot of space in their cage.
