My daughter-in-law is getting ready to have a new baby, I purchased this doll for my granddaughter, which would be the older sibling, hoping that it would be some thing where she could treat it like a new real baby as mommy brings home the new one this doll is spot on. It’s too cute. It looks like a baby it wears newborn size clothes. It wears newborn diapers. And my little grandbaby loves her doll realistic. In every way. Possible great deal for the money.

This doll came exactly as pictured. It is good quality and finely detailed. Hair is painted on but looks real at a distance. She’s had a bath, and we just popped her head off to dry her (which was kind of creepy given how realistic these dolls look). I was skeptical that this doll would look as good as (or frankly, anything resembling) the product pictured, but daughter had her heart set on her, so we ordered her- daughter is thrilled with her and I am impressed. Preemie-sized (real) baby clothes fit her.

We bought this baby doll as a Christmas gift for our youngest granddaughter who is one year old. As a grandmother, I immediately fell in love with the online pictures of this doll; it had such a sweet expression and looked so real! (It actually looked a lot like our granddaughter did as a newborn baby.) I couldn’t wait to give it to her as a gift!The doll arrived very quickly and was packaged in a nice, sturdy box with all of the accessories included (bottle, rattle, pacifier, headband, and baby toy). I was super excited to get it out of the box and look at it.However, when I removed the doll from the plastic bag that it was in, I was surprised by how stiff and hard it was. I thought it was supposed to feel similar to a real baby. Then I removed its little hat, and was totally shocked by the shape of its head; it was very “caved in” at the temples - much worse than the normal curves of a baby’s head.I REALLY wanted to love this doll and to give it to our granddaughter, but I just couldn’t get past the weird shape of its head. I tried to hide it with the baby hat and with the headband, but there was no getting past it. I finally showed it to my daughter (the mother of the granddaughter for whom I bought the doll) and asked what she thought. She agreed that it’s head was too strange looking, and added that it’s body was made of such hard material that it didn’t feel like a real baby at all. I also showed the baby doll to two of our older granddaughters (age 9 and 13), hoping that they might like it and want to keep it. The first thing they said was, “What’s wrong with its head? It looks weird!”Needless to say, I initiated a return/refund through Amazon. They sent everything that I needed electronically to return the doll, and I dropped it off at the local UPS Store, which was a super easy process.

I didn't realize how much my daughter would love this present, but it became her favorite gift for Christmas. I knew she liked dolls, but she is obsessed with this doll. She puts her baby to bed, she feeds her baby and makes sure she has everything she needs. She changes her clothes, and this doll came with a diaper. She has talked to me about even babysitting when she get's older because of this doll. I never ever expected her to love this doll more than her other Christmas presents, but here we are.

I was very disappointed when I took her out of the plastic. SHE IS AS HARD AS A ROCK!! I was so disappointed for my 4 year old granddaughter. I could tell by the look on her face it wasn’t what she was hoping for. The pacifier won’t stay in her mouth ( the magnet is not strong enough) and that was disappointing to her. She will need to be redressed in premie clothes before newborn are too big. Believe me you can’t find many premie outfits unless you pay several dollars. Overall, I would say DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! If your little granddaughter has been dreaming of a “real newborn baby “ don’t disappoint her with this stiff and rock hard item.
