Easy to use and effective !

This is a great bag for protecting your silver items. It’s well made, heavy in construction, and has a strong draw string for closure. It should last for years.This bag is stiffer than other anti-tarnish bags I have purchased. It’s not as soft and pliable. If you prefer softer, I have reviewed another great bag. However, soft has nothing to do with effectiveness….and your silver will love either type of bag ;) Remember, you want to wrap each item in a nice piece of flannel before placing it in the bag. This will protect the items from getting scratched. You can buy flannel at your local fabric store.I initially purchased this bag to store silver plated trays. However, it was a tad too small for the large, rectangular trays. I opted instead to store silver plated candle sticks. It easily holds multiple sets of candle sticks. It will also easily hold a good deal of round trays.Overall, I am very pleased with this bag. Because it’s new to me, I cannot speak to how well it will keep the tarnish off the silver throughout the year. (Even though items are properly stored in a bag, they should be cleaned every year.) I will have to give you an update in a year. Hope this helps you.

Wasn’t the correct size for what I wanted to use it for!

It is too soon to know if this prevents tarnish as I just received the bags . But I am pleased with the quality of the bags. And the price was right. I had numerous pieces of silver and silver plated items, from platters to gravy boats to candle sticks. I was surprised how much each of these bags can hold! I was reasonably able to get all of my pieces into the two bags I bought. If this truly prevents tarnish, then I would raise my rating to 5 stars.
