The Story of Leonardo da Vinci: An Inspiring Biography for Young Readers (The Story of Biographies)

Granddaughter LOVES these books! She is in 2nd grade, but is an advanced reader.

I read this book to encourage my daughter to read. It was a total joy.I'm truly a fan of Leonardo.

I bought this for my son for his school book report. It was easy to read and had some really good information. He was very happy with it!

Kids had to do book reports on someone from history so we got a couple of these and they are perfect.

I bought this with a group of other books from the series (Hellen Keller, Harriet Tubman, Jane Goodall,...) for my daughter a month or so before she turned 7. She loved having it read to her, reading it alone, and then looking at Leonardo's art. It offers a lot of potential for activities and discussion with a 1st/2nd grader.

Bought 9 of these biographies for my grandchildren. The books give simple facts and ask questions at the end. They whetted my grandchildren's curiosity to learn more and understand why the contributions individuals make are important to society.

I found this an excellent biography of Leonardo da Vinci. I learned things I had not known about this fascinating man. It well researched and gives a great deal of information about daVinci’s interesting life.
