Greenland Home Shangri-La Quilt Set, 3-Piece Full/Queen, Multi

Good on its own in summer. A warm overlay in winter. Has lasted well through many washes. Good purchase.

I did quite a bit of searching before chosing this quilt. I was looking for something that is 100% cotton inside and out, and that would keep me warm without making me too hot. I got this in the mail and immediately washed it so I could use it and the pictures don't do it justice! The colors are vibrant without being too bright, and the design is so beautiful, the colors all go together well, I'm obsessed! It's also very comfortable and soft, I run hot and wanted to try something that is more thin than a traditional comforter so I got this quilt and I'm really glad that I did. The pillowcases are really nice too, cute tying detail on the back but still envelope case so no chance of the pillow falling out or moving around or anything. It's also nice and big, it falls of the bed nicely and is a good enough length that it's not touching the floor but still covering the sides nicely. The quality definitely seems worth it for the price. I've purchased a lot of bedding from Amazon and it can be hard to find high quality, affordable bedding. This quilt is definitely more expensive than all my other comforters, but not as expensive as most of the other 100% cotton quilts that I saw on here that were like $100+. I also see it lasting long, time will tell, but it held up in the wash without any fraying or loose threads or any signs of wear at all, which I can't say for any of my other bedding I got on Amazon after the first time I washed them lol.

I originally bought this set with curtains in 2018. I loved it so much, I bought 2 more sets for back- up when it came time to replace (just in case they stopped selling). It is now 2024, and I am still rotating between the 1st and 2nd set (the 3rd is tucked away for later use). The two sets I use definitely have some wear and tear along the edges, but we're talking 6 years of consistent use, with lots of animals in the house, and always washing in hot water. Colors have stayed bright, minimal shrinkage (in early washes), and fabric is soft as ever. For the money, this is a great set.

I LOVE this quilt. I was really surprised by the quality. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. It is somewhat light weight but it still has the weight you would expect out of a quilt. It is also nice and big so there is plenty of material hanging over the sides. (I have a king size bed) I love the colors! The large green patch was a little much for me so I just flipped it around and voila! I’ve washed it already and it washes up nice. I don’t think it shrunk at all and it didn’t get lumpy or uneven. I highly recommend!*I got the throw pillow cover on amazon too.

This set exceeded my expectations!The colors are beautiful, and the overall weight of the set is perfect. I have always purchased comforter sets for my bed, but they have always been too hot for sleeping. Mostly I had tried to find the thinnest ones that I could, but those were often cheaply made all around. I decided to try and find a summer quilt to use instead, which brought me to this set. I was somewhat worried about the length of the set based on other reviews...I didn't need to be worried at all! I have a king size bed that has a thick mattress, and this hangs down all the way to the bed skirt.**Update: I purchased this set in 2017, and it's now August 2021. I am now more impressed by the durability of this set than I even was by the looks of it. I wash it in my washing machine (cold) regularly and hang it to dry. In all this time, no bunching or fading. I had one small corner of trim come loose, but it was an easy mend. Other than that, this quilt has done nothing but get softer over the years.**

I am happy that this is preshrunk because it runs a little on the small size, not like shown in the photo; with a Queen bed, you need to have the pillows up top and a bed skirt or you just cannot use it. I am sure the photo shown is for the full sized bed. On the other hand, the King size that would be the next step up, if the measurements are correct, would be too large for the Queen bed.Fortunately, I have a green striped skirt that will work with this already on the bed and enough pillows behind to make this work. Was a little disappointed.The colors are pretty and it will do fine for the guest room.

UPDATED after 7 years!This quilt has held up really well. No loose threads or worn areas. No noticeable color fading. I am very impressed with this, and now looking to see if this product is available in a print my husband might like!Nice quilt set. Perfect weight for summer and, with a blanket under it, will work for winter (as long as you have heat). Very little odor, gone after one washing. Washed and dried as instructed, and retained its shape for the most part, although ties on pillow shams wrinkled a bit. Even though this is a thin quilt, it is heavy, especially when wet. Face and backing are both cotton, so it will soak up water. Colors stayed true after washine, without any bleeding whatsoever. I was happy to see the shams matched up perfectly, too!

I am always frustrated with the sizing of Queen size spreads. They seem never to fall where my apparently picky self desires--but this one covers the mattress perfectly and falls down to overlap the dust ruffle beautifully. The stitching is tight and feels sturdy, as though it will withstand the test of time, washing, and my children inevitably jumping on my bed, adding to the wear and tear. The quilt is nice and dense, and will be cozy in the winter without being bulky. I am really happy with this purchase, although the thought of buying my bedding online without seeing it in person made me a bit nervous at first. The colors are bold and beautiful though, and the fabric has a wonderful texture. I would definitely consider buying similar bedding if I change decor in the future. If anything about my experience changes, I will certainly return to update this review!

Exactly like ad photo. My mattress is 14” deep and quilt covers it and then some. Matching Drapes are fully lined. Excellent for the price. Professional seamstress approved! 👍 🏆 ⭐️
