Very well constructed.
These closet brackets are not cheap. By any means they are built well and they are extremely sturdy and look great. There are cheaper products out there don’t do it

Perfect closet
I redid my mother-in-law closet with a new rod. She loves it. Very sturdy!

Good, sturdy product but some minor issues
First off these closet rod hangers are built very well and exactly what I needed for my closet rod and shelf. Much sturdier than what I was finding in my local shops. Only had two issues…the location of the top hole made it difficult to drill screws into the wall when mounting…and half of the brackets I ordered had some blemishes where there either wasn’t paint on some of the brackets or there were pieces of cardboard and glue on the edges that I could not remove. Ended up returning some of them but I would get these again if needed.

Strong brackets!
• We installed three brackets and put several hundred pounds of clothes on the shelf and the rod. There was no visible distress.• The hook is just wide enough for my 1-1/4 inch rod.• Tips on installation. (1) Don’t install on drywalls; they won’t support much weight. Find a stud behind the drywall. Use long screws and fasten the vertical leg of the bracket into a stud. (2) There is a wooden strip half an inch thick in the back of my closet at the top. I put a screw through the top hole of the bracket through this strip into the stud behind it. I put a piece of half inch thick wooden board underneath the lower hole of the bracket and put a screw through the wood into the stud.• Recommendations: (1) The bracket should have more holes on the vertical leg so that we can use the holes that are not on top of a nail in the stud. (2) The diagram should show horizontal distance from base of vertical leg to center line of the hook and vertical distance from top of the horizontal leg to center line of the hook.

Super strong
The builder of our new home used very flimsy, lightweight closet rod/shelf brackets. When we started adding clothes to the bar, at about the 50% capacity point, the builder's brackets collapsed. Almost exactly like what happened on the movie The Money Pit. So, I found these brackets on Amazon and installed them and they work perfectly. Super strong. I'm now able to put a 100% load on the bar and mount a shelf on top. Love these brackets!

Very sturdy, well-made and has a proper square corner (others do not)
After sampling every shelf+rod bracket from both local stores and Amazon, I was very happy to find this one. I wanted square shelves that would not sag and the strength to hold a heavy duty 1-5/16" rod loaded with clothes. Every other bracket had flimsy construction and/or a bad corner angle that would cause the shelf to slant. Those at local hardware stores were some of the worst. This is the only bracket that solved the problem, the steel is very thick and the corner angle is very close to 90 degrees. They made my project come out perfectly; I think I could do chin-ups on the bar. You may need to use a vise and pliers to tweak the support hook for perfect fit to your bar (use cloth to protect finish), and to take full advantage of their weight-bearing capacity you may want to use more serious screws for mounting these to studs (look at Power Pro #10 x 2-1/2").

Exactly as described
Product came when expected and was as described. They seemed to be strong enough to hold rail and shelves but unfortunately due to an unexpected move I had to return before I got chance to use them. Their returns process was easy to follow and money refunded without fuss. Would definitely order from supplier again.
