The CareBear itself was absolutely lovable, just as I expected. However, there was one thing that my daughter and I were disappointed about - it came without the original box. Instead, it was delivered in a simple bag. While it may not seem like a big deal for most 7-year-olds, my daughter loves the whole experience of receiving a gift, from the packaging to the paperwork and the Care Bear coin. It's part of the excitement for her.Despite this minor hiccup, I am pleased to say that Amazon stepped up and made it right for my daughter. Who doesn't like a great CareBear? This is super soft, cuddly, and just the right size. Quality construction. Bright colors and sweet face. New favorite stuffy in this household.HOWEVER, this is marketed as a NEW CareBear. It's even part of the description title on the product page. It is not. It is refreshed with the most recent relauch. But this is not a new bear. I bought this bear because it was new, only to give it as a gift to a child who already had one in the previous rendition. So, if you are a collector, check your inventory before you purchase
