Organic Dried Hibiscus Flowers

Drinkable
This tea has rotten leaves in it, human hairs, bits of plastic, and since it is organic, some bug silk. However, after sorting those things out, it does taste fine, which is why it gets more than one star. I bought tea sourced from elsewhere that looks way better but has a foul odor and flavor, making it undrinkable. At least this tea tastes OK after removing the undesirable bits.Get rid of the rotten leaves and plastic bits for five stars because a stray hair or two doesn't bother me.

Superior quality
Superior quality product. It’s great for hibiscus tea and any dessert. It provided a beautiful color and flavor. The products fo through lab tests and they don’t have binders or lead/chemicals and are certified USDA organic. Will definitely be ordering this again.

Hibiscus Powder
I got this to try and replicate the berry hibiscus refreshers that seems to be constantly out at Starbucks since the beginning of the pandemic. The powder by itself mixed with water tastes quite sour. I added a couple of dried mulberries and a packet of sugar to it to complete my concoction. It doesn’t quite taste the same as a refresher but it’s a decent substitute and a colorful alternative to my other teas.I’m probably going to repackage the powder once I can find suitable airtight containers. The original packaging is too prone to spills inside the resealable litter bag.

Caution: do not sniff
I wasn't, like, deliberately trying to snort it, but it's that natural thing where you open a fresh bag of tea or coffee and take a big whiff and BOY HOWDY don't do that. It's a fine powder, and I'm pretty sure I'll be blowing my nose red the next week.Poor life choices on my part aside, this is a finely ground hibiscus powder suitable for many uses. The packet lists drinks, baking, and skincare, jams, salads, and so much more. My jam happens to be hibiscus tea in the evenings when I want to shy away from caffeine, so I went with that for my first try.The bag opens to another bag inside - mine is now in a plastic container with lid as I didn't want to mess with the Ziploc original bag, though it's an option to keep it easily identified. I used about a teaspoon in 16 ounces of boiling water, mixed straight up, for the cup shown. Then I thought better of that and used a coffee strainer as I could see the bits floating around and don't like chewing my tea.It made an enjoyable, strongly fruity flavored cup of hot tea that I greatly enjoyed. It could easily be mixed with another tea to add caffeine or blend flavors. Absolutely delish.
