As a blonde who tries to maintain healthy hair, this stuff is a must! I used this on hair wash days and definitely had my hair lighter for way longer!The smell isn’t anything good or bad, maybe more chemically, but after you’re done washing your hair it doesn’t have any lasting effect.I double shampoo with this and it always has a great shine and feels clean!I got this bottle in March and have had it for 8 months now, a little goes a long way and definitely better to not use it all the time as it does DRY out your hair. So I like to follow up with a good conditioner and hair mask after.Also definitely a little messy in the shower, but worth it

The shampoo is great it killed all the brass and made my hair a white/platinum blonde. It even removed a lot of the pink/strawberry blonde tones out of my hair that the hairdresser couldn't get. It is drying which all good purple shampoos are. It smells so good which was very surprising for a purple shampoo, most have a weird smell. The smell is not overpowering either. I do think the price is a little much especially for the size however, I will pay it again and buy it again so I guess I could say it is worth the cost.Just be careful because it does work so good it doesn't take long before it give you purple tones in your hair. I have never had a purple shampoo work like this one does and I also never had one give me slight purple tones because it never even got the yellow out completely where this one does! All Redken products are great!

The perfect purple shampoo to maintain my blonde highlights. I can’t stand when it’s brassy and yellow. I use it once, maybe twice a week, and it maintains the more toned blonde I am going for. I leave it in for the 3-5 minutes it says after using normal shampoo.

The shampoo lighten your hair fairly quickly, and I have dark hair.

This shampoo along with its matching conditioner are incredible. I’m a first timer with blonde highlights, which have made my hair a lot drier. In addition to bringing back a lightness in color when the blonde areas get a bit brassy looking, the combo works together to keep my hair super nourished and really, really soft, shiny, and healthy. When using the shampoo, be sure to either wear gloves or scrub your fingers well, afterward, because the purple product really does stain any crevices on your hands. Other than that, as a hair product, I couldn’t recommend both the shampoo and conditioner more highly!
