Best thing since sliced bread
I bought this to help me drain and bleed my brakes on my 1975 VW beetle. Other than the hardest part being to take the wheels off to get to the bleed valve, this pump worked like a champ. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use and setup. Once you pressurize it and open the farther valve (passenger side rear), you see all the bubbles and contaminated brake fluid coming out. After about 3-4 minutes you see the clean brake fluid coming thru. You no longer need two people unless the second person is there to bring you adult beverages as your working up a sweat taking tires off. Otherwise, this pump is awesome. I really loved the way they sent the correct fitting to fit my brake fluid reservoir. You may also wonder do you need the catch cylinder. I didn't order it and I ended up driving to home depot to get some long tubing. I used an old windshield wiper jug to catch the spent brake fluid. So it cost me 5 bucks for 10 ft of clear tubing and gas. Oh and time. So if you don't feel like chasing for a catch basin for the fluid, buy the one that comes with it for 13bucks. You'll definitely use it.

Excellent but change the o-ring
I purchased this specifically for air-cooled Volkswagens. The o-ring leaked immediately so I had to hunt for a replacement. Tip, a simple garden hose o-ring works fine. Other than that the tool performs and works well.

EXPENSIVE
i paid $35 for a plastic cap, 2 brass fittings, some hose and a WASHER THAT DOES NOT FIT INTOTHE CAP.i would think that they would make sure the washer fit the $35 cap they are selling.

Pressure Bleeder
Have not used the bleeder yet. Should have system completed this next week then will try it out. Looks like the top that is supposed to connect onto the existing brake reservoir is too small. Have heard about this from other posts and they have recommended alternatives.

Difficult to use
A very simple design for this kind of money so you would hope it works perfectly. Instead the threads don't fit perfectly and it won't hold much pressure due to leaks. I have to use substantial pipe tape to create a sufficient seal to use. Also, as many of already mentioned the threading on is a hassle since the entire apparatus will then need to be rotated also or it will bind up. In the end, this is difficult to use but you can make it work.

Worked for my 1968 Volkswagen Beetle
The MP 0104 Power Bleeder with the 1104 (27mm) adapter worked perfectly for my 1968 Volkswagen Beetle. The only part that wasn't ideal right out of the box was the rubber washer that fits inside of the adapter cap. I used a pair of scissors and trimmed about 1/16" off of the perimeter, and then it fit correctly. I used Teflon tape to join the threads of the Power Bleeder to the adapter, then connected it to the fluid reservoir. After adding a pint of brake fluid to the Power Bleeder tank, I was able to pressurize the brake system to between 12 - 15 psi. I let it sit in that state for 2-3 hours and it held pressure without any issues. At the wheel, I had more fluid flow than expected through the bleeder screw and first observed very dark, dirty fluid but quickly had clear / clean fluid flowing out. After bleeding all 4 wheels, I now have rock-solid feel and brake pedal position at the top. In short, the Power Bleeder is a quality product and is very easy to use! It definitely turns the usual 2 person job into a 1 man operation!

So much easier.
The power bleeder made bleeding the brakes and master cylinder so easy. All you have to do is fill the power bleeder with enough brake fluid connect to reservoir and work your way back to front. This only thing I could say may need some improvement is to add some sort of swiveling connectors, but works just fine with preloading connector prior to install.

Great Tool
Works as advertised for 1200-1600 VW beetle/bus engine. Need to ensure gasket is tight on the top of the adapter and not crimped when it is screwed into position on the master cylinder. If you are not careful in this regard, the gasket/washer will crimp and the seal will leak.
