Works well for a big stack of heavy school books

I love these bookends. They keep my granddaughters books nice and tidy. They do the job but visually disappear... just what I wanted. They are exactly like the bookends you find at your local public library.

These are designed very well! The pack seemed like it had only 1 part but then I realized it was just stacked, it is produced with a sleek smooth dark metal perfect for holding books. It also has a padding in the bottom to keep it from sliding off a shelf. Overall a good product!

Does the job, pretty plain and simple.

These are very solid bookends. I was looking for some bookends for some fairly heavy and tall books, and did a fair amount of research on bookends. After the first cool looking bookends appeared to fail the strength test in some reviews I began to look further. I wanted to buy some nice looking bookends that cost quite a bit more than these, but some of the reviews seemed to indicate that they couldn't handle hefty books. I kept looking.I'd already bought some kind of cheapo things at Walmart, but when using them they didn't match my expectations for what I wanted, so a wider search began. Amazon had much cooler ones in searches, but many of those failed the strength question. I settled on these and they have no problems with books about a foot high, and heavy. They aren't cool looking but on the plus side, you don't really notice them, you see the books and they hold the books well.

Heavy. Quality material. Looks sleek and keeps books up. They will tip over if books are leaned against them without sitting on the flat bottom

They're fine for holding a small number of books, more so if the books are on the light side, but trying to do a full bookshelf of mid/heavyweight books (particularly taller ones) is a mistake with these, they'll tip right over if the weight shifts more than a little. They're kinda flimsy and bendable, too. Again, fine for small setups, but that's it.

Good for the price.
