OMG OMG OMG
THIS BRAND IS THE BEST PROTEIN SHAKE BRAND EVER!!! I had the unflavored egg white one for a long time which was great because it just mixed right in to my regular fruit smoothies and I couldn't taste that it was *technically* a protein smoothie. Because I had such a good experience with that one, I ventured out and decided to try this flavor so I could get away from the sugar added by the fruit and OMG, I'm in love.Someone told me not too long ago this brand mixes so smoothly because it's not plant-based, i.e. fibrous. I don't know the science/details on that, so I can't say that's for sure what it is. What I *do* know is I'm huge on textures, so any time I had to drink other brands, I would gag on them the whole time because they are so gritty...NOT ANYMORE!I'd say if you're not used to the taste of stevia, it might taste odd to you. Definitely blueberry flavored, but odd. I noticed a bit of the tart aftertaste stevia has, but I'm personally more detached from sugar, using stevia as my sugar substitute most times; so it's not enough to bother someone who recognizes that taste.Basically, don't be afraid to try it...it's great!

Tastes like perfumed lotion.
I have the bodies of at least 5 plant based protein powders milling around in my cupboards. I keep trying to find one that does not taste like I either chewed on bark, licked grass, or, in the case of Paleo Protein Blueberry, downed a bottle of Bath and Body Works overly perfumed lotion. I'm not kidding, it tasted like perfume. I burped after drinking it and my daughter asked why my burp smelled like lotion. Tolerable, but certainly not anywhere near a favorite and I would not order it again. I tried making blueberry muffins with it, and now it was like chewing perfumed lotion. On to the next.

Not my favorite
I've tried Julian Bakery's Grass-fed Protein Powder first and loved it! Not so much unfortunately for this Blueberry version. To me, it is too bland and lacks flavor. I will not order this one again but nutrition wise, I think it is a good product, just I like the Grass-fed one much better. In a mean time I am adding my own stuff like raspberries and coconut oil to make it more tasty.

NO A SAFE PRODUCT OR COMPANY!!
I am not a person who writes reviews... In this case I was so compelled. Julian Bakery sent me an opened and used package of this protein. It smelled and looked weird. I kindly reached out to them providing the details and orders numbers from my Amazon purchase. They not only didn't care they never called to discuss and or get to the bottom of the issue. When I pressed them on the matter they blew me off and ignored my further inquiries. Similarly I have sent messages to Amazon about my concern of a customer being delivered a used food product and have not been contacted by anybody in quality control. We as consumers have many options to choose from. As an avid exercise enthusiast I consume 1 package of protein a week. As I have been mistreated by Julian Bakery and they have recently raised prices $9.00 per bag recently I am going back to the Jay Robb egg white protein product. Jay Robb is a wonderful protein and I thought was a bit expensive... As of now the prices are even and I will be switching back.

Chemical Un-Romance
I love Julian Bakey's Paleo Double Chocolate. That tastes great and mixes well. This...well this is just pure horrid. It clumps if you mix it with ice water. I mixed it again with tepid water, and it mixed fine. And who doesn't love a good tepid protein shake! As for taste...first off when you open the bag, it smells like Booberry cereal! I had such high hopes! And then I fell so far...it tastes overly chemical with a sour after taste. The only possible way it tastes like blueberry if you imagine taking delicious blueberry pie filling, scooping out the can, so that just a few schmears remain on the inside, and then add warm water. Stir and drink. This flavor might be tolerable when mixed with milk or ice cream, but it doesn't cut it for me when mixed with water -- and that's what really makes a good on-the-go shake for me.

Great nutrition. Horrible taste!
The taste is almost unbearable! It's disgustingly sweet and the artificial blueberry flavor is awful. I have tried all sorts of things to mask the terrible taste. I mostly use this powder to make protein pancakes and it's still hard to tolerate. For the price I'm going to choke it down one way or another. I have tried the chocolate also and it turns into a solid clump within minutes! I have used shaker bottle and a blender. Same result. I want this stuff to work as whey makes me stomach feel bad but no luck with either of these two powders so far.

Blueberry Flavor is Pretty Sour
I love the Paleo Protein products, but this was too tart to drink alone. I mixed it with another flavor I already had to make it palatable. Will keep getting product for breakfast replacements but not this flavor.

Taste like pink bubblegum
This blueberry flavored protein powder is just okay. Same texture and mix ability but the taste is very sweet. To me it doesn’t exactly taste like blueberry, it reminds me of a pink bubblegum flavor. Seriously.
