This is a good heavy ish dog gate!. I am not worried my 25 or 45 pound dogs will knock it down. Maybe the 45 lb doggo could but she is too scared and rather bark. I like how it's not flimsy and it's a bit heavy, def recommend! We had the doorway swinging gate and it too a lot of room/made the doorway narrow.

Purchased this as a replacement for the pet gate that didn't work well and also scraped the paint off my door frames. This is great compared to the plastic and metal make ones. Neat and clean, easy wipe off and looks nice in a home it doesn't dress down my living room. Easy to fold up and place in a closet out of the way. I am now wishing I had purchased a second one (which I might still go back and do). Sturdy if you place it right and stable.

So, I love these gates. They are very sturdy, very attractive, and good quality gates. They are not a bad price. I looked and looked around a lot before I ordered 3 sets of these. They are kind of heavy, but I think that is what makes them so sturdy. My husband's finger did get pinched. But, I think that was owner use. Ha ha. They keep my dogs out of rooms we don't want them to poop and pee in. My husband and I just spent years rebuilding a house in Los Angeles. As soon as we moved in, our two dogs decided to poop and pee on our new hardwood floors and area rugs. We were not happy. So, we decided to get some gates to keep them out of rooms at night. They work, and they look great. I highly recommend this product.

I needed some kind of gate or fence to keep our cats away from a particular area in our house. Our cats are older so it's hard for them to jump over the gate. This gate was a game changer for me- it looks nice, is very sturdy and easy to maneuver. I wouldn't set this up in a straight line because it could fall over so I have it in a W-position. It's a sturdy, well-made gate. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

We are fostering two blind kittens and were tired of using miscellaneous large items to cordon off our kitchen to isolate them where they would be safe. One of our doorways is oversized and I needed the extra width these offer (we purchased two). I was a little worried because the space between the slats is 1.5" (not 1" as one person answered), but so far the kittens haven't escaped. They are sturdy enough with enough weight that the cats won't be able to knock them over or askew. They also were delivered faster than Amazon estimated, which was a huge help as we won't have these kittens for much longer before they go back to the shelter for adoption. Very pleased.

This is so nice and it matches my porch railing perfectly. I bought it to set out on the front porch and keep my little dog in on the porch. It was very easy to put together.
