PANDORA is a NASDAQ-OMX-listed company on the Copenhagen stock exchange. PANDORA was founded in 1982 by the Danish goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and his wife in Copenhagen. Since then, PANDORA has taken the unprecedented path from a local Danish jeweller business to one of the largest jewellery brands in the world, inspiring women around the world to share their unforgettable moments and express their individuality and values. The manufacturer's marking is a stamp that indicates the origin of the jewellery. The usual manufacturer marking on PANDORA jewellery is "ALE". This stands for Algot Enevoldsen, the father of PANDORA founder Per Enevoldsen. Except some of our smallest pieces, our jewellery always contains the "ALE" stamp. In Denmark, the manufacturer marking is referred to as a mark of responsibility.
