Tension Rod with No Spring, Poor UX Design
This is not a tension rod, it's a twist rod. There is no spring inside, just a screw-shaped plastic bit which tightens when twisting. However, it's tricky to get it to tighten at the length needed, it seems like you have to hold it just right to get it to tighten where needed.If that wasn't bad enough, because there's no spring, you can only get it to be exactly the width needed. Normal spring tension rods let you get the length a little longer than needed so you can squeeze it into the space, and this causes great tension and makes the rod stay in place. This model only has a twist option and is poorly designed. It's getting returned because it is unusable.

Very useful
If you want to hang curtains but don't have curtain rods installed or just want to add a shower curtain and again living in a rented space and can not go for permanent rods then this is the best option. I really liked its appearance and flexibility. Its worth it, easy to install also.

it is mild steel pipe with paint. strong but ok finish
