Rawlings Ash Wood T-Ball Bat/Ball Combo

I bought this for my nephew . it broke and hit him in the eye . he may never have sight in one eye . please note the flaw in the wood . the Chinese put wood putty in the worm hole and painted over it .

I was hesitant to purchase this after I read at least one review that said the bat broke and was dangerous, but I figured for the price, my husband and I would check it out before letting him use it, just in case. After hitting several T-ball grade safety balls with the force of an adult swing, we were convinced that the broken bats must have been due to a child using the bat inappropriately, like hitting a hard object, a tree, or hitting it against concrete ground. We don't let our son play with the bat or anything like it without adult supervision. Any wooden object would break with enough force, no matter how well it's made. I'd recommend this product if it's used properly.

"Made in China" is very predominantly printed on the barrel, made out of low-grade poplar and not the standard ash or maple. Bat barrel end isn't shaped correctly either. Spend the few extra bucks and get Lulouisville's ash teeball bat.

We got this to go along with a T-Ball Tee for the kids. It's a great bat - not too heavy for even our youngest daughter, but also not super light like a plastic bat. It's perfect for our kids who are new to baseball!The ball it comes with is also sort of an in-between. I don't have much experience with types of baseballs, so maybe this is just a typical T-ball, but it's lighter/softer than a normal baseball, but not as soft/light as the foam fake ones.

Heavy for a t ball bat and it comes with a very large packaging sticker that doesn't peel off correctly.

If you need a bat and ball on a budget I highly recommend this one. The ball feels a little cheap but it's good enough for a kid to start learning the ropes with.

Nice high quality set! My biy is swingin it out in the backyard now. Was surpised at the weight and quality of the bat! He's going to be ready for teeball in no time.

Basic bat and T-ball.Unbeknownst to me and through no fault of their own, these balls blow up when thrown against a fence by an adult. So, just avoid doing that with them.

Todo muy bien pero se empezo a raspar con muy poco uso, buen peso, buen tamaño, si no te importa que se raspe es recomendable.
