Excellent quality and the price is great. I'm honestly surprised at the quality for the price. I now have a collection of ethiopian opals and an australian one (the aussie one was way more expensive but given the rarity, one gets what they pay for). I'm honestly not sure why there aren't more 5 * reviews considering how real these are. Clearly not lab-made. I highly recommend...in fact, I'm about to place another order.

What I ordered was 25ctz of raw opal. When ordering raw stones, you always expect there to be a little loss for inclusions. After allowing the opals to soak in water then cleaning them with a toothbrush and dental pick, what I was left with was 12ctz of actual opal. Less than half the advertised weight was actual stone. 13ctz was potch/hard pack mud. One of the 'stones' was, in fact, completely comprised of patch, and had zero opal in it.Absolutely NOT worth your money. They claim to be "hand selected stones". If someone hand selected these stones for a customer, they need to be slapped and fired.That being said, the minimal amount of opal I received had fire in it, but in quantities nearly too small to be used in anything.

I've gotten rough Ethiopian opal from several seller .thi was by far the best quality I've revived.they were actually clean enough,, less inclusions than you could actually cut a clean gem from each piece in the parcel.

The media could not be loaded. Usually a few nice cutters and one or two that are a bit fractured. This one cut nicely

The stones were very good quality. I was impressed.

Absolutely garbage. Resembles clear glass. No color whatsoever. I honestly can't believe how they are allowed to sell on Amazon.

These are tiny pebbles. Do not bother!
