I got this to be able to start wood pellets in a small solo stove style fire pit. Turns out this is really god for starting a fire in my home heating woodstove too!I’m rather frugal with supplies like this but you get 3 bottles of gel so I don’t feel like I’ll need to get more half way through the winter. I like that this is alcohol based. It’s ethyl alcohol.It works well.

I can’t get the dang lids open lol need strong hands or a knife to cut the bottle which I ended up doing cause I’m impatient. Lights great, no order, gets our pellet stove lit since the ignitor doesn’t work well

Very thick and the fire does not start just by using the product by itself even when in larger quantities. Price is good for the quantity received. A little diluted product may be better to penetrate more into the pellets.

This is a great gel for our pellet stove that doesn't have a self lighter. The only thing about this product is it comes out extremely fast so use caution there. Better and more affordable than the previous fire starter gel we have been using.I didn't taste it so gave it a one on flavor....

I put a full bottle and it didnt even start a fire, and its one of those things you can’t return because i had to use the full bottle to see it was working

Works great, but it's very thick. And the bottles were nearly impossible to open. I almost had to return them because they wouldn't open. Finally a friend got them open.
