Cost effective solution
Wonderful shower for a fair price. This comes with a tub attachment that fits most water lines. Water pressure isn't lowered with this attachment. Very durable quality metal. Can easily replace the need to call a contractor or a plumber to add that shower to an existing tub.

Worked well in the claw foot tub
Easy to install. Was the only shower fixture I could find that was tall enough for anyone over 5β tall and still work in a claw foot tub. I used a different shower head so canβt speak to that. For some reason I was issued a return credit, but I never returned this item π Rather I returned an ez flo shower extender that was far too short.

Solved a problem
Moved into a new house that had a tub but no shower in one of the bathrooms. Called half a dozen local plumbers to get a shower installed but they all either told me they don't do that type of work, they couldn't give me even an estimate for a month, or they made an appointment with me but never showed up. We needed a shower in time to move in, so I went ahead and purchased this. Install was super simple and it doesn't look half bad except for the bracket that attaches to the wall being plastic and in my case the screws are visible because the pipe sits slightly off the wall due to the tile on the lower portion of the wall. When I first tested it, the water dribbled out and I was afraid that the water pressure was going to be too low, but that was just the junk shower head that the kit includes, which we weren't planning on keeping anyway. Once we put a proper one on, the pressure was fine. The pipe also didn't need any sort of adapter to fit a standard shower head.Overall I'd recommend this without hesitation. I took one star off for the cheap wall bracket. I didn't factor the shower head into the review at all.. just pretend it doesn't exist and the money you are spending here is for the spout and pipe setup and worth it in my opinion.

Love!
My old external shower head was so short that even at 5β2β I could hardly stand below it. This is so much better. I installed a 10β rain head shower on it and itβs a dream!

lost pressure after a month of use
After a month the pressure decreased by allot... not sure what happened.. it didn't have great to begin with but now it's like being peed on.. first few mins pressure but it acts like it clogs or something, brand new pressure tank so isn't that.. I have to push the nozzle down than back up just to get pressure again... if you need something that's functional this is it but it's not spectacular... kinda high priced for what you get :(

TERRIBLE WARRANTY SERVICE
**BUYER BEWARE **I had this unit professionally installed. The plastic internals for the tub spout busted during the installation. The company that sold the item tells me to work directly with Kingston Brass. Although I sent them a clear video and picture of the busted components, they asked me to re-install this unit and show it leaking BEHIND MY WALL. I'm not willing to do that, and their supervisors don't return calls. This is a major problem.
