My husband's job kills wristwatches. He deals with chemicals that will eat right through. But he needs a watch, so I found this one. It's a nice simple design with good easy to read numbers. Just what he required.

I figured most watches have the same quartz movement This watch gains about 5 seconds a day. Came in a cloth bag and found an extra battery. The finish already shows wear as I use it every day.

Very attractive watch. The chain that came with it was strong and the end piece for attaching to clothing is perfect. The opening mechanism is solid. Watch has a great weight and I am very pleased.

I don't believe this is a self-winding watch because I already own a self winding watch and it is night and day difference the weight the quality of material hugely different and when you turn the knob to wind it it doesn't do anything you don't hear any gears turning like you do on a normal self winding pocket watch so it is battery operated in my opinion and I would recommend taking it to a watch repair store when the battery dies or if you just stops working I don't personally think this watch is all that special I only really wanted it because of the military time that they included on the face beyond that I think it's a fairly cheap watch but it's also not terribly expensive
