This balm came highly recommended for those with intensely dry/chapped lips. I was ready to drop serious money on some expensive lip ointments because my lips have been so dry and burning. I don’t know what health issue is causing my lips to dry out, but I was desperate to find something to help. Nothing I was using was making any difference. I am a Burt’s Bees fan, and it couldn’t touch whatever I have going on with my lips. I’ve been using this balm for two days and I immediately noticed a difference. For one, I’m not having to reapply every 30 min. It is thicker than regular chapstick, but I don’t mind. It helps it to last longer. I used it before bed and my lips were still moisturized the next morning. It has a pleasant honey smell. I will be stocking up on this product.

I have an autistic daughter that suddenly developed lip lickers dermatitis several times this winter. Tried just about everything to get it under control and each time had to fight with her to keep the salves on her upper lip where it is really bad, like bright red and painful. Read about this stuff and figured I would give it a try since it contains hydrocortisone, which is what dermatologists recommend. Received it on Monday afternoon, put some on her every few hours until bed then in the morning before school. Gave her teacher a tube to apply during the day. When I picked her up it was half healed. Kept applying every few hours then at bedtime. When she woke up Wednesday morning all that is left is a faint pink area just above her lip. Absolutely amazing stuff. Once it's fully healed I'll get her back to using normal lip balm so I can stash these tubes for the next time she gets it. Also, the best part is, it's similar in consistency to Blistex lip balm in the tube, and not greasy or stinky, so my kid has no complaints using it at all.
