Happy to use grill again, now that I have installed replacement kit

My Ducane propane grill had a "blow-out" in the middle burner tube that shot flames out the back of the grill, almost torching the house siding. This kit was easy to install.Read up on adjusting the air vents. By opening them a bit more than the old ones, the grill runs hotter.I also cut off and reused the heat deflector plates under the burners since that plate had also rusted through...

Seems to be made from good quality stainless steel and all parts fit perfectly. Grill is functioning like new again.

I’ve attached our model ducane grill for reference only but after removing the 4 screws in the face plate and removing and installing the 3 burners and reinstall the face plate the grill fired right up with our hesitancy. I did adjust the air inlet to about 50% but it may be different for others.

These burner tubes and heat spreaders turned my old grill into a new one again! I inherited an old three-burner Ducane grill with the new house, and was never happy about how it worked. I decided to dig into it one day and saw that all of the old burner tubes were cracked/blown out, and the heat spreader plates were corroded complete through in places. A few clicks on Amazon to these parts was all it took to get my grill working like new again! It does take a little fiddling to get the air/gas mixture just right in the tubes, though. But that's not a fault in the product...it's just what you have to do to swap parts like this.
