Works perfect
This product works absolutely great and cuts the edge banding to perfection.

Good idea, bad design
The tool idea is good, but the quality of the knifes are bad. It's ripping the material instead cutting it. Any sharp box cutter will do a better job.

Left a choppy line when I cut
This edge band cutter was advertised as being able to cut up to 2” wide, but it doesn’t go that big. As a result, when I tried using it, it left the veneer edge banding very choppy and sloppy looking. I will be returning this.

Worked like a champ, but expensive
Bought this to complete a simple project to replace some adjustable shelves, 16 total. I tried to trim the edge banding with a box cutter but that was a disaster. Using this tool made it 10x easier. The key is to make sure you have a firm grip, apply consistent pressure and most importantly that the tool is flush with the edge and as parallel as possible. Once I got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing on all 16 boards. This is quite pricy for what it is and does but it is effective and worth it if you plan to do a lot of edge banding.
