Tetris Party Deluxe - Nintendo Wii

Tetris Party Wii is a great new version of an old classic! I love all the different versions of Tetris games there are like the mountain climber and the one with bombs and one that you have to maneuver a Tetris piece through a moving screen. What is really awesome is that you are able to work in the same Tetris square with another person, which calls for some teamwork. Whats even better is that you can have 2 teams each with two people in a team (the two people share a Tetris screen/square whatever you call it) face off against each other in a Tetris battle. The graphics are great and really pretty. The only thing that annoyed me at first was that the background for single player had these annoying fireworks display that was distracting and almost felt eye straining. But luckily for me my sister figured out that you can change the background, and I was able to get a calm pretty background of a beach (however there were several other options). Anyway, I've loved Tetris for years since the SNES version, and this is a MUST-HAVE for avid Tetris fans.

I have been playing Tetris Friends [...] since the beginning of the year and have been loving it so when the had adds up for the product I jumped on it. I figured it would make a great gift for my sister who loves tetris. However when I finally got together with her I was actually a little disappointed it seemed like they just threw the menus together and shipped it as quickly as possible. They don't have good instructions or expiations of what different game modes are. I really like Tetris and as I said tetris friends is top notch I was expecting a really well put together product and unfortunately this is not. If you want a tetris game for your wii get the wii ware version if you want a disk go ahead and get this but if you are just looking to play tetris i recomend just playing online.

This game moves well, plays fast, doesn't seem to have glitches or problems, is visually neat, and has several versions of the game, including a new one in which the object of the game is the opposite of the usual. In this version, called builder's tetris, you have a little figure who needs to climb to the top of the board so instead of blowing up blocks, you have to stack them to the top just right. This is not the only imaginative new version included in this game. This game is excellent for any level from beginner to tetris master, it is great for anyone who likes tetris or puzzle games, it is good for hours of fun, and I recommend it.

My wife and I were big Tetris nuts, this version plays exactly like the old Nintendo NES16 version if you want it to, or has some really cool new features like ghosting, saving a piece for later use, slow and fast down. Has same music (or like 20-other tunes). Good for up-to 4-players, but you have to turn the background off to make it fair (the background isn't even across all 4 play-zones, so the left-side players have no interference, while the right-side players will have backgrounds that make it look like blocks of lines are in their zone). Overall endless fun.

Not a review of the game, so much as the production, this is the second time I have bought the game and it won't play on my console at all. Not sure why, not sure if my console needs and "update" or what, I just know I bought the game, popped it in the console and after hitting "start" it locks up the console requiring a hard reset. All the other games we own function fine on the console (and we have more than 50) it's just this one. I've been looking foward to this Christmas present for weeks and now I'm very disappointed. I'd happily write a better review if I could play (I just wanted some simple 1player tetris).

I love this game! It is a descent attempt at an adaptation of the old Tetris classic. The reboot is good but not great.Pros:-Multiplayer weapons make the game more exciting.-You can play with up to 3 friendsCons:-Not very intuitive menus-Graphics are pretty basicThis game is a good for family or a group friends. I grew up with the classic NES and Gameboy versions so this is a good attempt and rebooting it. It is fun to play and entertaining for hours. Could have offered better graphics and soundtrack. Still worth the price.

Know nothing about it but grandchildren were thrilled. Grest goft for young teens and the price and delivery were great!
