Perfect for replacing pin/clip fasteners! Worked much better than I expected,
Background: My kids are watching Star Trek The Next Generation, so I decided to get them communicator badges like those in the show. The ones I bought were great equipped with two pin/clip fasteners - the type with a pin that pokes through your shirt, and little clips that slide onto the end of the pin to hold it in place. I mention this because these items are a bit heavy and need to be oriented correctly to look right. I was worried that the magnets wouldn't be up to the task or the adhesive would be too weak. These magnetic holders worked perfectly. The adhesive stuck quickly and very very firmly (place in correctly the first time - it's not going to want to come off). The magnets are strong and the overall quality is great. My kids are thrilled with their magnetic com-badges and my wife is happy we aren't poking holes in all the shirts anymore. If you're on the fence, I'd definitely say go for it. Quality product at a good price. Oh - one more thing. The metal plate that adheres to the badge was a little too long for my application. I ground it down to size using a belt sander. Probably not relevant for most people, but if you find that you need to resize them, this approach works, and I was able to reduce the length by about 3/8 of an inch and the magnets still grab it just fine.

These are great, work absolutely wonderfully, definitely recommend.
These are just great. Very good price, too. Got new name badges at work and they had those horrible safety pin-type thing to attach to clothes. We replaced with these, took just a couple of minutes, and done. They are amazingly strong, so much easier to use and no chance of ripping or ruining your clothes. Best things ever. We've shared with others at work, and will be ordering more, plus have told everyone there how and where to get them, too! These are highly recommended by all of us!!

Works great for name tags
I purchased this to hold flowers on for a senior night. I practiced to see if it will hold through the very heavy band uniform material and it seams to, but did purchase more heavy duty magnets for a back up, just incase. But will hold through regular shirt/sweatshirt material.

Strong Magnets
I order these magnets for my church to use with their usher and greeter badges. The magnets are super strong and hold even through thick, winter-weather clothing.

How to separate the top and the bottom
Item photo represents the exact item. Users have asked me how to separate the magnetic pieces. My answer is to rotate the top so it is off the base and then the top is easily separated from the bottom. Is there better advice?

Adhesive made it through a wash!
I used these magnets to replace the pin on the back of my nametag for work because it kept destroying clothes. Yesterday I accidentally left my nametag on my shirt and ran it through the wash - the nametag remained on my shirt just as it had been placed that morning, and the magnet was still stuck on to the back of the nametag as strong as ever. These are great!

Didn’t see any warnings until the product arrived. They can be dangerous. Watch out near things like computers and definitely NOT for anyone with implanted medical devices. Returned them for a refund

We are a Shell re seller and have several Shells under our district. they hated the pins so we got these, cut the pins off the Shell name tags and glued these on. Our employee's and our client employee's love the magnet strip since it does not ruin the clothes and it holds nice and tight. Good replacement for the pins on any name tag. We used epoxy glue to latch them on.
