Hillsdale Kelford Backless Swivel Bar Stool, Antique Bronze

I bought 4 stools. I love them but one has ripples in cushion. The color of seat is a light gray which blends well with my white kitchen. Assembly was hard with first stool. With my husband’s help, I was able to put the rest of stools together in less than 5 minutes. You need 2 people to hold ring while you bolt stool together.

The directions weren't the best, but I powered through trying to assemble the stool best I could. It's very fiddly - you have to cross over the two leg pieces then try to secure the two pieces of the ring around that. Well, neither side where the halves fit together would align properly to be screwed in. I tried working backwards and assembling the stool so the legs would be stable and then finishing up with the ring...that didn't work either. I was left with a wobbly stool that I could have only assembled if I got a drill and drilled through the metal - and it still would have been wobbly.Amazon has insisted that I send the stool back to get my refund - first telling me to put it in a box that I have (who has a 3x1.5 ft box just laying around their house??) and then telling me that the UPS man will help me package it if I have trouble....what????I'm overall very disappointed with this purchase.

I would give them a 5 except they are not exactly the same. We ordered 2 stools. The order was divided and they were shipped from different locations. When you buy 2 of the same items you expect them to be the same. The ring around the legs is 1.5 inches off. I would not return them for this but this is an easy quality control issue. They are very sturdy and comfortable.

I bought the grey and white ones, they look just like the pictures! I've had them for three years now and they still look as good as new - and my house is full of kids all the time!!! The cushions are comfortable, even when sitting on them for a prolonged period of time. My only problem is that over the summer two legs on one stool cut through the cap on the foot and damaged my vinyl floor... so if you're putting them on a hard floor, keep an eye out for that!! I would still buy them again, they really are great stools, especially for the price!!

We love these barstools - very comfortable and sturdy. The color of the metal and the faux leather is just perfect and even better than pictured. The only reason for rating 4 instead of 5 is that the faux leather fabric shows wear marks/streaks when you slide off the stool especially when wearing blue jeans. Fabric used for upholstering chairs/cushions for kitchen wear should be more durable and not show wear/usage so quickly. Since these will be used infrequently and we otherwise love them a lot, we're keeping them and, when needed, we will reupholster the cushions.

This stool is just beautiful and SO VERY EASY to put together! It is BEYOND comfortable...you could sit for hours and not want to move! It is actually more brown in person..the picture has a lot of rust/ red, but it is more brown than rust. I was thrilled about that because it looks like I custom matched it to my table. The seat is just the right size and I love the unique shape.CLASSY! I have two at my kitchen counter and prefer sitting there than at the table. Now... Here is something to consider. It is a swivel stool but the swivel is so tight I have yet to actually swivel It could be because it is a pressure swivel (you have to sit on it; you can't just spin it with your hand) and I only weigh 98 pounds...maybe I don't weigh enough? I called customer service and they said it will "loosen up" over time. I have had them a month. Either way, I don't give it a second thought because, for me, they are perfect. If you want to spin like a top, or get your kids dizzy you may want to get another chair. If you want a gorgeous and comfy stool at a great price...You found it!

Love love these stools! Cushion material is so soft and the batting in the seat feels like a firm memory foam, perfect! Gives a high end look without the price.

I was a little hesitant to buy these counter stools because some of the reviews said that the assembly was difficult and uncertain. But that is absolutely not true! These were so easy to assemble very minimal screws (8) and time about 20 minutes per stool by myself and they are perfect. Comfortable, solid and beautiful! And the price is absolutely terrific!
