Had a number of these over the years and love the continuous light instead of trying to diffuse led dots. Easy to install. Support even helped me out even after the warranty period was over. They really do stand behind their lighting kits.

I thought I was buying an LED strip. Turns out, I accidentally purchased a direct portal to the sun. This thing is SO bright that when I turned it on for the first time, my plants started photosynthesizing at midnight. NASA might even use my living room as a landing beacon now.The 640 LEDs per meter are a game-changer. My cat, who usually sleeps through everything, now squints at me like I just ruined his entire vibe. And the RF dimmer? Genius. Because without it, I’d probably need sunglasses just to exist indoors.The flexibility of the strip is great for creative setups. I wrapped it around my shelves, TV stand, and even tried spelling out “CHILL ZONE” on the wall—though it ended up looking more like “CHILI ZONE.” Whatever, still cool.Overall, 10/10 for turning my humble home into a futuristic lightscape. If you’re ready to blind your neighbors (in the most stylish way possible), this is the LED strip for you!

The media could not be loaded. I'm not an electrician, but with decent reading comprension and a little patience, I was able to install these lights on both the upper and lower cabinets. I've always wanted cabinet lighting, and this product delivered! I especially love that I could put the top and bottom lights on separate controllers, so I can use the RF remote to turn them on or off independently.I did run into a minor issue during setup, but customer service was quick to respond and helped me resolve it. Attached is a video of me changing the colors of the LED strip using the wireless remote.Even though there aren’t a ton of reviews yet, I highly recommend this product — 10/10!

The controller unit arrived non-functional. After recording a video of the problem and sending to the seller, they sent me a replacement package right away for free, which was nice.For the strip itself: I like the fact the LEDs are so close together so I didn't feel the need for a diffuser. I also like that there are many cut points (relative to other strips at least). I wish that it came with more wire-to-strip connectors so I could get it to fit more complex shapes right out of the box, but this won't be an issue if you plan on placing it somewhere relatively flat or simple.

These LED lights work very well in my kitchen. I like having granular control over the brightness and color temperature so I can get exactly what I want. I have the lights plugged in to an outlet that is controlled by a wall switch, so I can just use the wall switch to turn the lights on and off. The original package only came with less than 10 mounts, so I messaged the seller and they gave me a $10 refund to reimburse the purchase for additional mounts. The mounts themselves have to be screwed in to the wall, which is more work but I actually prefer it because adhesive could fall off over time. Overall highly recommended.

The LED strips work and seem to be bright enough to use for lighting.But, if you're doing anything but plugging the strip into an existing, pre-made controller, be aware that BTS-Lighting does not send any of the normal technical info about the LED strip. Parameters like max wattage or max current on the V+ lead are not available, and if you email BTS-Lighting they are useless. I've been trying to ask them a simple question, "Is it within spec to drive the Warm-White and Cool-White at full at the same time, or is it only one at a time" and they can't answer me. Each time they invent a different question that I didn't ask, and answer that instead.I can provide some info from my testing:The Cool White LEDs draw 300mA per meter at 12 volts.That's 3.6 watts per meter, or 1.5 amps (18 watts) for a full 5-meter strip.The Warm White LEDs draw slightly less, 280mA per meter at 12 volts.That's 3.4 watts per meter, or 1.4 amps (16.8 watts) for a full 5-meter strip.No other information is available, including:* Maximum watts per meter (when cross-fading between WW and CW)* Maximum current for either the WW, CW, or V+ leads* Max bending angles or other mounting guidelines* Any other LED specs you'd typically see in a datasheet. (All you get is "plug the wire into your controller".)I'll end up having to do tests to find out for myself, possibly losing a length of LEDs in the process. That loses this a few stars, because they could have just copy/pasted some info from their supplier's datasheet and it's costing me time.

Sweet little rope of light, works on a motherboard RGB header with B unused, for a more "grown up" look than RGB.

I liked this light strip so well that I've ordered more. I was easy to install (so far, behind a TV and on a platform bed). Having the right ends and couplers makes a difference. Otherwise, I've not had any issues and the strips have not overheated or came loose from the adhesive.
