Armitron Women's 25/6198 Diamond Accented Dial Gold-Tone Black Leather Dress Watch

I love this watch! It is very attractive, looks good with casual, business, and/or dressy attire -- and looks like a much more expensive watch. Because I have a very small wrist, I have difficulty finding watches that fit. Bracelet styles often just fall off, expansion bands may not allow enough links to be removed, and many watches just look overwhelmingly huge. This watch itself is small, yet it is easy to read; the band is narrow and a pretty grain. Even though I need to fasten the band in the very first (tightest) hole, the end does not flap around and catch on things because there is a second loop to secure it. A couple of years ago I bought two Armitron watches with expansion bands. I had to take them to a jeweler to have (many!) links removed, but they were then small enough and very comfortable and attractive. I still use one regularly; the other band recently got damaged, so I looked for a watch with a leather band. My three Armitrons are all high quality at amazing prices. I'm VERY happy with this one.

I've owned this watch for 5 years, now. I do agree with other reviews about the poor quality of the watch band. I had to replace the band in the first 6 month of owning it. However the watch has run beautifully for 5 years. I've replaced the battery only once. The watch has never lost time. The gold tone of the casing has even held up well. As inexpensive as the watch was, I was ok with having to replace the band.

I bought this watch as part of some Christmas gifts I purchased for my nephews girlfriend she loved it she was looking for this type which is more retro then the watches women are wearing today which are on the larger side. She wanted it to be small with a thin band . When it arrived it was exactly what she had been looking for she is a very tiny girl so the band fit her perfectly ( if you are on the larger side it might not fit as well) very attractive and worth the price.

This is a very nice timepiece and I looked forward to getting it, however, it is too small for me and I am returning it. I would like the band length to be listed on such an item so I would know if I should order it. I ordered another Armitron watch in the spring with an expansion band and now I am returning both of them. I will not order another watch online.

The band was so stiff and when I went to put it back on the leather band cracked. I'm returning it because it was not comfortable because of the band.

Did a little "happy dance" when surfing Amazon's women's watches and saw THE WATCH. Almost identical to the one that provided understated elegance to my wrist for years. Thank you. Don't care for leather wristband, so re-attached a gold tone expansion band I had added to original. The black face and golden hour marks with diamond at 12 make time instantly seen. I don't need waterproof or enormous status symbol; this perfectly fills my needs.

The sweep hand is so much like the regular hands that when I glance down I get the wrong time! Not good when you need to be on a strict time.

This watch is perfect if you are petite or have a narrow wrist. It is so difficult to find a small face/dial that doesn't overwhelm my wrist and a band that I don't have to drill holes into to fit tighter. Really good looking watch and I look forward to wearing this all the time!

Received item with "analog" instructions, meaning that the watch was self-winding. It was not: It has a quartz and battery to run it. The battery was dead because the button on the watch was depressed. What poor quality control ! Returned it ASAP.

Beautiful watch only wore twice before the strap broke really disappointed if you buy this watch make sure you get replacement bands because the quality is crappy.D Velasco
