Sauder Beginnings Platform Bed, Twin, Cinnamon Cherry finish

Overall, I'm happy I purchased this for my two-year-old's first "real" bed. It's stronger than a lot of other cheap furniture I've bought, and actually looks pretty nice. It's fairly low to the ground (great for a little one), and has no structural problems at all.My big issue is the drawers. I HATE the drawers. I didn't even take the product picture showing the drawers on the floor as reality, because the idea is so bizarre to me. They just sit on some wheels and roll completely separate from the bed. Since they're not on tracks, they just wobble wherever they want while you're pulling them out.

Broken after few days of usageBase can not supprt the bed overall. Not a reliable bed. Broke apart after few days of normal usage.They do not even accepting returns. Poor customer service.

It's not bad. Wasnt hard to put together but the drawers just roll on the floor into the empty parts of the bed. They are not attached in any way. I wish I knew this as my three yr old walks around with them. :/ they also are not smooth rolling on rug. Its good for the price but not awesome. Also two prices had a crack, but I believe it from shipping. Also once you build it be careful moving as the middle will easily break. It's heavy and only particle board.

For the price, this is amazing. It sits a bit low perfect for my 6 yes old. Draws aren't attached, but my son uses them easily enough.Dont screw the flat boards down, no need and it'll save you time and allow for easier clean up under the bed.

We own several Sauder bookcases....this piece does NOT meet Sauder's standards. Better off going to IKEA. Cheaply fabricated particle board parts with hairline cracks in some of the laminate covering. Unfortunately, my son's had already assembled the furniture by the time I noticed the poor quality of this furniture. Rule of thumb...you get what you pay for. This is cheap stuff that I suspect will begin to break before long.

I've purchased a number of Sauder products and they are usually of good quality. This one I can't say the same for. It was to match a dresser purchased a few months earlier. It was the same color but the drawers don't have tracks like the dresser but role on the floor using mickey mouse roller balls which don't keep the drawers aligned. The handles are a cheap plastic unlike the dressers and during assembly some of the parts were ill fitting and many screw holes did not align properly. A bit disappointed.

Beautiful product! Sturdy, and relatively easy to assemble. There are a LOT of screws, and they all need to be hand-screwed in - do NOT use a drill, as you can strip the screws or damage the product! All pieces were accounted for. We chose not to screw in the 3 platform pieces that the mattress lays on; the bed is sturdy enough on its own without having to screw those pieces in. We actually ordered two of these and it took two of us about 1.5 - 2 hours to assemble the first one, and only about 45 mins - hour on the second one the next day (as we were already familiar with the directions from the first one). Pieces all lined up and pre-drilled holes all aligned with other pieces. Definitely worth the price and the amount of time it took to assemble!

Easy instruction, good quality, simple to put together, you can do this alone but with 2 people it took about an hour... UPDATE After a few weeks of my 76 year old aunt sleeping on it, it seems to be fine, she’s about 5 foot 140lbs and it’s holding up great, I really don’t get what so many people are complaining about the plastic handles for.. at $150 what did they expect??? Here’s some advice, if the handles are really bugging you, go to Home Depot and get a set of metal handles they cost a buck!
