I have longer hair and didn’t want the tiny curls from smaller sponge rollers. These are definitely jumbo and produce a looser curl. I did have to get a jumbo satin bonnet to go over them.I like the resulting curls. But they are a bit difficult to sleep in. Their larger size puts your neck at an uncomfortable angle. This can be overcome with some creative pillow positioning.

I love these! These heatless sponge rollers are easy to use and make my hair look like I just stepped out of a salon.

I would nit consider these jumbo size. They are more like medium size. The clips are not strong enough and therefore don’t stay closed, I did find it helped to wrap a scarf around or pilot on a soft shower cap to keep them in place. I also would take the plastic clips out and try using an extra long Bobby pin in the hole instead.

Comfort is great

I was so looking forward to trying out these rollers, because I no longer wanted to use hot styling tools on my fine, thinning hair. Unfortunately, when I tried to roll my hair, I found that the rollers would not stay close to the scalp; they would just flop down to hang loosely. I do not recommend these rollers unless you only want them to curl your ends.
