The pros of the Extremus Blaze 360 Flex Lighter:-Pocketable-Durable Design-Safe Design-Easy to use-Usb C chargeable with included cable-Extendable AND rotational head-Works in windy conditionsA while back (almost 5 years ago) I made a review about a similar product, but this is a faaaar BETTER version of that. You see the other brand I had was weaker and therefore it wasn't as effecient under windier conditions. But not only that, the safety switch on thay old pocketable plasma arc lighter was BUSTED, so it could have potentially started a fire in my pocket or backpack. I had to carry it, in it's original case for that reason. (The utility didn't stop me from carrying it.) But THIS ONE has a far better design, and we will never have to worry about such potentially dangerous flaws again...Aside from that, this model is just stronger, safer and personally more convenient than that old outdated one as it is USB C charged like my other devices.Another reviewer stated this brand has another model with a flashlight. For me, that is a considerable optional upgrade I would like to see in the future of a perhaps newer model, as having the extensive vision in the dark would pair well in conjuction with this lighters primary function to light things ablaze. (Duh.)The ONLY REAL gripe I personally have with this Extremus Blaze 360 Flex Lighter, is that in order to recharge it, you DO have to open the lid and plug in the USB C cord RIGHT NEXT to the plasma arc and activate switch. Needless to say, if the charging port was somehow on the outside, it would probably make for a better design choice overall. Perhaps that option was made to retain the waterproof qualities, but I still think it would be universally preferable for the charging port to be easier to access without the implicit risks of the current design.I still highly recommend this lighter. You see, that older weaker, inferior lighter I talked about, with the safety switch malfunction... Was capable of starting a fire with just firewood and pinecones underneath to start the blaze... If that other one could do that with just some proper positioning and alignement, I don't see why this far superior arc lighter wouldn't.I HIGHLY recommend this legit solid product, but one more tip... If you're really outdoorsy, and could use an additional practical energy source to recharge this, you COULD use your carport, but personally, I recommend buying a cheap solar rechargable external battery to recharge your electronics, including this device, your phone, etc... One that ALSO comes with a built in flashlight. It's great if you go on extended hikes, fishing atop of boats, or during those pesky zombie apocalypses where you can't quite get to your car. In all seriousness though, it's recommended to usually not use your cars cigarette or usb ports too often as it can potentially cause short circuits and electrical problems with your vehicle over time. I mean sub $40 is less than what a 12v car battery is worth, and certaintly less than your vehicles entire lifespan. It also means you can go off grid with it, or just casually use it as it becomes convenient to your needs at any given moment.Just keepin it real, and lookin out. Peace.

I haven't used this enough to know the battery life but this lighter is awesome! Rain and wind really no problem.

Purchased as a secondary lighter to have just in case needed in certain situations. Now use almost daily in and outdoors in windy and rainy weather. Love the structure and sturdiness but battery dies down a little fast. Overall product is worth it.

Note: Smoking is bad for you so don't follow in my bad habits.I have a Jeep Wrangler TJ and with the top down there's no way to keep a regular lighter lit when going over 40 mph. A plasma windproof lighter is the only way to go. I've had another plasma lighter for years, but forget it in the Jeep one day when a storm blew in and it didn't survive the rain.This lighter is great because I don't have to worry about the weather again. In the dark, my Jeep's dome light isn't very bright so the flashlight has been very handy. My dog just looked at me like I was crazy then ignored me when I used the whistle. I guess it's good if you get lost in the woods.I've also used this when camping. It's great to get the kindling started. But be careful about burning the hairs off the back of your hand when lighting a camp stove (A "hold my beer and watch this" move.)

Recently I attempted to fire up my camp stove to make breakfast outside my big rig. The wind made it impossible using matches, I ended up having to light the stove inside the truck cab, hugely unsafe!!! I bought this Extremus Blaze 360 Flex and put it to the test in those same windy conditions in the Arizona desert. Absolutely fantastic! The wind had absolutely no effect on the Blaze 360, the stove fired up immediately in a sescond. This device is extremely versatile, I can think of so many uses not only for me in the truck, but for campers, backpackers, as well as in the home. Great product.

Gave this out as a present to my brother and his friend cause of the windy conditions out on the water while fishing. This lighter plus the flashlight thats also built in did a great job.I was thanked repeatedly cause they lit up there cigarettes repeatedly with no fuse over flame going out due to wind

The description says “300” lights in one battery charge. WHO is counting this? This thing at best, will last you about 2 packs of cigarettes, this would be 40 lights, not 300.I’m not putting it down because it’s a well constructed product and it does work consistently. Because it is nice looking and it does work i did not return it. Instead, i purchased another one so i keep the 2nd one charged up while i use the this one. That’s not a terrible thing while you’re at home but if you’re traveling you’ll have to either A) carry a backup mainstream Bic lighter with you, or B) be beady to hook it up to a power bank to re-charge it. This isn’t even considering the use of the flashlight, in which case it would last you much less time. I have 2 of them and it’s the same story with both so it’s not a malfunction.This is probably better for your occasional use to light candles.I do recommend it though. Just don’t believe the claim of 300 lights on 1 charge.

He likes it. He says it works well and lights up easy. He wants more of them. He says now he wants a longer one.

I really like this lighter but the ad is misleading. It says that on a 1.5 to 2 hour charge it will last for up to 300 uses but it actually only lasts for about 30 uses. With that in mind it works very well
