International Concepts 24-Inch Mission Stool, Unfinished

We added on to our house and bought 2 of these to stain and match the new kitchen. GREAT product!

We bought 4 of theses chairs. The first chair opened, the side stretchers are different lengths. Because of other cut-outs, the stretcher that is about an inch longer appears to belong to a different style chair altogether. Is it possible to have a replacement matching set of side stretchers sent to me? Repackaging the stool and returning it is fairly inconvenient. Please check to see if the manufacturer will simply send a replacement set of matching stretchers. Thank you.March 3rd: The fact that I received no response to my previous posting is disappointing. In the meantime, I've managed to modify the stretcher that was too long myself, and I've made it work. The other 3 chairs were fine. Just disappointed that nobody bothered to respond.

Easy to put together and very good quality and sturdy chairs.

The plus - the stools were sturdy solid wood (I ordered 2) and have a larger seat than many counter stools so they seem like chairs. The minus - the stools were partially assembled, however on one of the stools the stretcher (wood piece between legs) had no pre-made slot on the leg to slide into. I had to use a drill press to make the needed slot on one of the legs which was not easy. I would also recommend not staining the stools too dark as the stain did not absorb evenly.That being said, I was able to stain them and touch up a few places that had lighter areas. I used a satin polyurethane and the overall finished stools look really nice !!!

These stools are sturdy and beautifully made! Will consider purchasing other furniture from them in the future.

I bought 4 of these stools and took my time assembling them and finishing them. We were able to match the stain with out kitchen island. If you don't mind the assembly and finish, these are a great deal.

Nice heavy chairs, easily assembled, I stained one chair with a fruit wood and applied two coats of polyurethane and it looks great, 2nd chair to follow. with a little work, these chairs are nice.

These chairs are made in Vietnam. I am not sure what species of hardwood they are made from. They have some unique machine details and fit together nicely. They definitely show excellent craftsmanship.
