Amazon Brand – Wag Small Breed Dry Dog Food, Chicken and Brown Rice, 5 lb Bag

I recently switched my dogs to this food, and they both enjoy it. I've also noticed a significant improvement in my dog's coat. He had been experiencing hair loss on his back, a common issue for his breed. Since starting this food, his hair is noticeably growing back. His diet is the only change we've made.

My dog is eating better than I do. I share my food with him but he doesn't share his with me.I tried cooking up some homemade chicken & rice & veggies for him but there must be something to all the supplements & what-not that help make the dog more frisky & playful & generally active. Occasionally too active.Regular solid poops too.

Amazon brand products have always offered great quality at a great price. Such was the case with their WAG Small Breed Dry Dog Food. My 12 rescued dogs (9 miniature dachshunds, 1 minpin/chi mix, and 2 chihuahuas) LOVED this food. I loved the small size of the kibble, the high rating on Dog Food Advisor, and the reasonable price (I go through 30+ lbs a month). I'd give 5 stars; however, the recent price increase OVER the per-pound price of many name brands has me switching to IAMS small breed, which is just as highly rated, but $.50 a lb. cheaper than WAG after the recent price increase. That's $35.89 vs.$28.49 on the base subscription price (not including the subscription discount) - a $7.40 difference. At the rate I use it (2 bags a month), that's $177.60 over the course of a year. Not sure why the price was increased, but at this point, I have no choice but to switch to IAMS (which, after I got a small bag to try, the dogs loved just as much). If it were a matter of pennies, I'd stick with WAG, but at $.50 a pound, it's too rich for my blood. What's up, Amazon? This long-time customer is disappointed.

Super cheap, and my dog instantly loved it. Saved just a few bucks over the bigger brands I usually buy and my small bread senior dog really likes it.

My Jack Russell has been eating Wag small bite dog food for 3 years. I compared the ingredients to science diet. This had better ingredients. If you’re considering a change in dog “crunchies” then zoom in on the ingredients and compare. You might save a little money. The bag size did suffer from shrink-flation. Used to be a 20 # bag, now it’s 15 lbs.I’ve included a pic of the ingredients and the list is longer than what I remember.

Hello everyone I have to say I was skeptical at first I have been buying Nature's Recipe but, this last time I went to order it, it was out of stock so I was forced to find something else. I compared some different brands and prices and decided to order Wags and I am glad I did I have 3 very different kind of picky eaters and they all love it. I am one that reads reviews before trying something and I will tell you my dogs love this food I will be ordering more.

Great value, good nutrition values. Would be higher rated but it’s not available anymore.

Arrived fully in tack and my Yorki-poo enjoys it, the small bites are easy for her to eat.
