Julian Wachner is known as one of North America s most exciting and versatile musicians, sought after as conductor, composer and keyboard artist. All of these elements come together on this recording of festive carols settings composed during Wachner's tenure as conductor of The Washington Chorus and as Director of Music and Arts at Trinity Wall Street in New York City. This recording features nine brilliant carol settings performed by the GRAMMY-nominated Choir of Trinity Wall Street, The Trinity Youth Chorus, and the NOVUS NY orchestra. The recording also features three organ improvisations on carols performed by Mr. Wachner.Producer Geoffrey Silver is a choral specialist, who received his training at Westminster Abbey and Cambridge University, before co-founding New York Polyphony and record label, Acis.
