Perfect!
A lot of reviews said that these were impossible to fill. I did not have that problem. I’ve had the glass kind in the past, so I know they’re a little tricky to fill. Other reviews state that all the water came out too quickly, mine did not. In one picture I focused on a bulb. It was in the soil for over an hour. Overall, they’re not the cutest and are cheap looking. But! They do the job and my plant will live when I go on vacation.

Great Plant Water Bulbs
Purchased these plastic plant watering bulbs for my home garden items. Bulbs are easy to use and insert. Great item in theory. As directed, I watered my plants well, filled the bulbs with water, and inserted into my plant soil. My only issue is that the bulbs didn’t work as intended, and the water all dispersed into my plants after about 5 minutes. Could be user error- but I tried it multiple times without success.Love that the item comes with plenty of watering bulbs, and the bulbs seem to be made well!Hop this works better for others as I didn’t have the expected success I was hoping for, but is a great item in theory.

It works great when done properly
I ordered a bag of these and I do use them occasionally for a lot of my plants. The thing of it is is that you can’t just shove it down into the plant, you do have to put it in on an angle and test this out to make sure the water does strip slowly. Be careful that the soil doesn’t get stuck in there, but this product works exactly For what it’s intended for. I love that they are clear and I can shove them in the back, where nobody can see them, the capacity of the water that it holds is great, and they serve its purpose.

Okay for price
I’ve bought several different watering bulbs for my plants. However I feel these don’t work as good, water seems to come out easily and not how it’s supposed to. Product overall feels cheap, but okay for price.

No from me dog
I saw the reviews that people struggled to have success with these but I tried anyway. I tried a lot. I tried a lot of angles and levels and techniques, and I couldn’t really get any of them to work more than once, if that. The small ones seem to leek out water immediately, and the larger ones sometimes do, and sometimes go slowly enough that you wonder if it’s working correctly or just blocked by soil again. The big ones are large enough that they might knock over your small to medium plant if you try to angle them to get a faster drip. The small ones are small enough that they barely hold much water at all.I’m sure it’s possible that someone could kind of luck into some kind of system that works for them using these. But it wasn’t me. I certainly wouldn’t trust these over a vacation without testing them, and also learning yourself how they work for a few weeks first. One dirt clod when you’re filling it the morning you leave and you don’t notice because you don’t know what it feels like, you’d be coming home to a dead plant. Try to use one that perhaps for some manufacturing defect just won’t hold water and you didn’t test it first? You’d be coming home to a dead plant. They are so cute, and smaller than the terracotta bottle spikes i have used successfully before. It’s a shame they just… don’t work very well.

Great for knowing how much water each plants needs!
Thos product is amazing! I never knew how much each plant needed specific water amounts. This product isn't just great for going out of town and leaving water for your plants, it's great for keeping up with each plants water comfort! I would definitely buy more of this!

Just OK; inconsistent in their operation
Bought these to set in some of our houseplants before we went away on a two-week trip. They are sturdy, but far from "decorative". They are a good price for the number that you get. However, as some people have said, sometimes they clog and don't work potentially jeopardizing the health of your plants. So here's what we did to play it safe:- Only used them in potted plants that we knew would last for more than two weeks without watering- Set them up two days before our trip to see which ones didn't dispense water into the soil by the following day- Those that were still completely full the next day, we pulled them out, washed them, and poked them in the stem to clear out the clog- Re-set them in the soil the night before we leftWhen we came back, about 80% of them were completely drained, so I'd call that a success. A couple of them were still full, so they didn't drain at all. Only negative besides the ones that clogged and didn't properly water the plants is that their rate of draining is totally "random" and unpredictable. If your soil is very compact, they probably will clog and not drain or drain very slowly for instance. If your soil is very loose or full of roots or twigs then they will probably drain very fast, within a day or two, rendering them useless also for long trips. My recommendations would be to try something else and more reliable, like the Blumat Classic Plant Watering Stakes which we also bought and which work very well: (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001IOZ98?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1)So would I recommend them: NO. They are just too unpredictable to use for long absences. We'll continue to use them as a supplement to the Blumat stakes for "less important" plants that we're not too worried about, and we'll probably use two of these globes for those pots just in case one clogs.

Watering bulbs
Used these tiny bulbs as it said to do and when I went back into the sunroom, half of them were EMPTY! They are to add water to the plant as the soil dries out. We have several old bulbs that we purchased years ago and they still work, these new ones were costly and totally useless. What a waste.
