Tie is supposed to be silk, and has the shiny appearance of those big bugs with the green/blue shimmering colors. That may not sound like praise, but it is. I have plenty of ties that are flat red, blue, black, or maybe have some stripes. Oooh, hold me back, I'm going wild here. This is a tie actually worth looking at, since most men's suits are virtually interchangeable. Makes me feel like I look just a little bit different than the average bear. That's good enough for me. Now I'm going to order some paisley ties too.
