High quality
This pole was a lil on the softer end for a med heavy but it looks so good and is super light. Imma keep it anyways for a different type of fishing style. Matched up perfectly with the extra reel I had sitting there so it worked out.

AMAZING Rod
This is a great rod for a very good price. The rod not only performs great- it looks great too- I have received numerous compliments.I have been using this rod for most of the season and it’s my new go to rod (when I can’t use a longer rod due to casting room) I have been using this for casting big plugs (3 to 8oz) and targeting striped bass and it handles both well. For a 7ft rod it loads and casts very easy and far. The rod has a nice backbone and can tame and control fish very well. I use this to fish in the inlets and back bays… but this would also make a great boat rod too.Overall- it’s a great deal for the money. It’s in line with rods that are easily double the price. It’s actually a clone of a rod made by ‘catch the fever’. The guides are nice and heavy duty. The handle is also very comfortable and nice- but it is a bit thick. I didn’t think I would like it at first, but have come to love it. The reel seat is as nice as it looks and very solid- one of the nicest reel seat I have on a rod. I currently have the rod paired with a Ming Yang CL-60 but it also pairs really well with a Garcia 7000 size reel. Anything smaller might seem too small due to the thickness of the handle, it’s more of a personal decision, I guess a 6000 would work fine. This is my 3rd Fiblink rod- and I just ordered a 4th. My other 2 are surf rods- I’m pleased with all of them especially considering the price. Maybe one day Fiblink will sponsor me to test out their new gear!! Lol

2nd chance was better.
After my first debacle trying to order a rod, this time was so much better.Even though the package from UPS was slightly damaged, the rod was in perfect shape.I ordered the 9 ft extra heavy, to not only fish for catfish and striper, but also to be able to throw heavier baits in the faster currents at some of the rivers I fish. The rod is a good looking solid rod.Really like the fact that all the eyelets as well as the hook keeper are double wrapped.I'm pairing it up with a Runcl 6000, loaded with 40 lb braid, which should be more than enough to hoist in a fairly sizeable catch. The one small drawback, the the two pieces of the rod fit so tightly together, that the rod is almost impossible to separate. That's a good thing in the overall scheme of things.I've had two piece rods in the past vibrate apart, but there is no chance of accidental separation with this beefy rod. Can't wait to give it a go on my next river outing.

A rod with many names
This is a pretty and stout rod. Handles weight well and is very sensitive, especially for a two piece rod. I like the reel seat and the handle/grip. It’s BIG, but it grows on you. Here’s the thing…I paid about $62 apiece for these rods. I was out shopping the other day at a catfish fishing store. I saw the same rod with a different name selling for more than twice as much. When I got home I got on the Internet and did an extensive search and comparison on a lot of these, so-called, catfish rods and realized that many of them were the same as my $62 rod and ALL of them selling for way more. The only real difference that I could see...and feel in the case of the ones I handled...was paint. Do your homework and make your comparisons before you spend over $100 on a catfish rod. This is a hell of a lot of rod for under $65. That’s all I’m saying.

Knock-off
Good looking rod with solid reel seat. Not AFTCO. Another China replica. Has worked well for rock fish and halibut. Excellent value compared to other higher-end rods.

Awesome rod
I haven’t fished it yet, but after first inspection and a light bend test I’m very impressed. I thought it was going to be a broomstick but I was pleasantly surprised with the action, it’s a firm mod fast down from the tip to just above the middle of the rod blank. It’s got some serious back bone, lovely paint job with green threading around the guides and a clean epoxy application on the thread wrap. The heavy duty blackened SS guides are double footed and very solid, the alignment isn’t perfect but it’s not bad at all. I can’t wait to take it out. Thank you.
