This ring is very well made. The color of the amethyst is deep purple (not lavender) and the sapphires are light navy blue (not black). One of the sapphires is a bit crooked, but I can live with that for this price. If you're a lady that wears shades of blue and purple or has a February or September birthday, you'll appreciate this piece.

Received this as a gift. It is beautiful. The amethyst is a dark rich purple and the sapphires are a rich dark blue. The ring has some weight to it. I have received so many compliments on it.
